Story
Hi, my name is Simona. I am a 2 year old Golden Retriever mix. I am fully vetted, spayed, and heartworm negative. I am crate trained and house broken. Through a series of unfortunate events I found myself all alone at an animal shelter in Florida. The wonderful rescue arranged for me to hitch a ride back to Texas so I could get the vet care I needed. Now that I am fully vetted, I am ready to find my forever home. My foster mom reports that I am tolerant of other dogs, but I may be happiest in a home where I am the only pup so I can have all of the attention from my humans. If you love my golden locks hit that inquire button before I get swept off my feet!!

Charlie wants you to know even with his black fur and scars from puppy strangles, he is handsome, sweet, loving, smart and has all the same love and personality as the fluffy one over there! Charlie loves meeting new people; not around kiddos much. He is practicing his manners and learning his commands. He is eager to learn, well behaved and friendly boy. That would love his own backyard. Or if you're in an apartment with a doggie area to visit often. Cool. Because he is ready willing and able. Charlie is an adorable 9-month-old lab mix currently at 30lbs and growing. We think he will be petite in size. He came to us with a bad case of puppy strangles but is all healed up. He has a little scaring on his face but his beautiful shiny black fur covers some of that up. He is fully potty trained and uses a doggy door. He knows the command sit and we are working on more. He loves taking walks and exploring the outdoors. He gets along well with foster's 2 older dogs and loves to play both with dogs and humans. He has not been around young children but has a sweet demeanor. Charlie is king of the backyard sunshine! He loves to play but is a very chill, loving puppy. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at http://dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Meet Hilton, the amazing retriever mix who is almost 10 months old. Weighing in at about 45 to 50 pounds, Hilton is a bundle of energy and joy. This smart and eager-to-learn puppy has been working on his basic skills, including leash walking, sit, stay, and look commands. He is already potty trained and crate trained, making him a well-behaved and disciplined companion. Hilton is a big ball boy with a tall and lanky physique. His playful and energetic nature will keep you entertained for hours on end. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to engage in playful interactions. Hilton's foster family has already taught him some impressive tricks, such as sitting, laying down, shaking hands, and even healing. One of Hilton's endearing qualities is his funny and unique personality. He knows how to put a smile on your face by flashing his charming smile when he wants a treat. His excitement is contagious, as he expresses his joy by snapping his teeth with enthusiasm. Hilton's journey to finding a forever home hasn't been easy. When he was rescued, he was a mere 5 pounds and in a pitiful state. He was infested with fleas, covered in wounds and puncture marks, and in pain. Luckily, a compassionate local homeowner heard his cries and took him in. Now, Hilton is ready to leave his past behind and find a loving family who will cherish and care for him. This Valentine's Day, Hilton is hoping to find his perfect match and secure a forever home where he can experience the love and affection he deserves. He is eager to shower his new family with loyalty, playfulness, and endless cuddles. Hilton's resilience and determination to overcome his difficult past make him an extraordinary companion. If you're looking for a loyal and playful addition to your family, Hilton is the perfect choice. Adopt this lovable ball of energy and witness the transformation of a rescued puppy into a cherished member of your household. Don't hesitate to open your heart and home to Hilton, and give him the forever home he has been longing for. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Adrien is a 1.5 year old, 80 lb Hunk of Love! He is a mix of several breeds, and mixed breeds are the best breeds of all! He had a rough start to life. He was adopted from Humane Tomorrow as a young puppy, but the family decided he wasn't a good fit. Instead of returning him to Humane Tomorrow (which we want and require), they gave him to a friend who gave him to another friend. He experienced a lot of change and lack of stability in his short life, and he missed out on the important training puppies usually receive. Adrien is now in a wonderful foster home where he receives lots of love and stability, and he is making great progress. Sweet boy Adrien (nickname Arlo) needs an experienced and patient pet parent to guide him in becoming the best pupper he can be. He takes a little time to warm up to people and other dogs, but once you are in, he lays on the love. He is smart, eager to please, and takes very well to training. He plays very well with dogs he knows. He has not shown toy or food aggression. He is fine with smaller dogs, but dogs his size make him a little nervous, He is doing very well learning his manners when dealing with people he does not know. He seems to do well with kids, but due to his size, we are recommending no kids under the age of 10. He loves being active and having playtime as much as he loves to be a couch potato and snuggle up to his human. He is kennel trained and house-trained. He has done well in an apartment setting, but really needs a house and a yard. He walks well on a leash. He currently sleeps in the foster mom's bed with his dog sibling and is respectful of both. You will not go wrong if you make Adrien (Arlo) your best friend. He has been remarkable to watch as he gets better and better every day. He is so loving and lovable. He really is a deserving and good dog that just needs a chance with the right home. You can submit your application to adopt him at www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Nolan is a super handsome, super friendly, 2-year-old Lab/Retriever mix, weighing in at 80 lbs. Breed mix is just a guess, and he is probably a mix of several breeds. That's what makes him such a great dog! INDOORS: Nolan (aka Marlon) is well-behaved, and he loves to cuddle and play with both his people and his dog friends. He is a smart, sensitive, and a very kind dog who tries hard to please. Often, you will find this fun guy pushing a dog toy in front of his people or his foster dogs, just hoping for a little game of tug or fetch. OUTDOORS: This charmer walks well on leash IF you have treats, however, not so well when walking with the other dogs as he competes and tries to get ahead of them. His foster boys take him to the lake and private dog park and he just loves being part of all that. Nolan enjoys a lively game of fetch with a tennis racket (he likes to go long) and ball (he drops the ball too!). He enjoys people of all ages, dogs of all sizes, and cats, too! This gentle, yet excitable young dog cannot wait to start a new chapter with you! The best home for this boy would be one where his people are home most of the time and where they will enjoy spending time with him. We believe he would really thrive if he could have a happy playful dog companion to have fun and grow with. And if you have carpet, all the better, as hard floors scare him. Please submit your application at www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.
