Is anyone missing an approximately 9 week old, Goldendoodle puppy weighing between 8 and 10lbs? He was found at Tuttle Field in Rockwall with his mom and littermate on 04/23/2024. He will be on stray hold for 7 days to allow his owner time to claim him. If you recognize him, please call the Rockwall Adoption Center at 972-771-7750 ext 2.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. Charlie wants you to know even with his black fur and scars from puppy strangles, he is handsome, sweet, loving, smart and has all the same love and personality as the fluffy one over there! Charlie loves meeting new people; not around kiddos much. He is practicing his manners and learning his commands. He is eager to learn, well behaved and friendly boy. That would love his own backyard. Or if you're in an apartment with a doggie area to visit often. Cool. Because he is ready willing and able. Charlie is an adorable 9-month-old lab mix currently at 30lbs and growing. We think he will be petite in size. He came to us with a bad case of puppy strangles but is all healed up. He has a little scaring on his face but his beautiful shiny black fur covers some of that up. He is fully potty trained and uses a doggy door. He knows the command sit and we are working on more. He loves taking walks and exploring the outdoors. He gets along well with foster's 2 older dogs and loves to play both with dogs and humans. He has not been around young children but has a sweet demeanor. Charlie is king of the backyard sunshine! He loves to play but is a very chill, loving puppy. Can Daisy be your dog?? She is a 4M old poodle/pyr mix who is on track to be about 60 lbs fully grown. Her coat is very soft and mostly non-shedding, she is dog and kid-friendly, and doing great on age-appropriate training milestones. Daisy's hobbies are: Sleeping Playing with toys and bones like a maniac Staring hopefully at squirrels in a tree Wrestling with her canine foster brother Following her human foster brothers around hoping for snacks Eating any and all treats or kibbles - Her favorite TTPD track is "So High School because she's a happy girl, but she also likes "The Black Dog for obvious reasons - She is crate trained and puts herself to bed around 9:30, and then wakes up at 7 asking to go outside and potty - She is exceptionally calm and chill for a puppy, and doesn't force herself on anyone. She can take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but quickly turns affectionate. She tends to avoid strange men trying to touch her, but that's a smart strategy for life in general. - Daisy sees herself as a lap dog and likes to snuggle, which will be interesting as she grows up. - She thinks applause is scary, and you can GTFO with your vacuum cleaner. (We're working on it!) - She is getting much better at leash walking, and loves to run fast in a large fenced yard. - Daisy spends 3 days per week at a dog-friendly office and started off scared, but has warmed up to it and now enjoys walking around to get treats from her security guard buddies and sleeping under the table during meetings. Daisy Flowers had second round of vaccines and was so very good. No idea she got 2 shots. Just under 20# at 4 months and is a sweetheart. Although she has a bit of facial scruff her coat is very soft. Loves being a lap dog. At 12 weeks old, these super adorable scruffs are learning all the good things. Doing well with learning to potty outside. Super sweet personalities. Good with kids and love playing with other dogs. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
