Story
Potato’s ready to find his forever people!   Potato is a 4 year old Great Dane. He weighs about 120 pounds! Potato is good with other dogs. Potato would do best with kids 12+ as he is a big guy that could potentially knock younger kiddos over. We are not sure how potato is with cats so we feel it would be best if he went to a feline free home. Potato is house broken and crate trained, but he is not destructive at all! Potato is a pretty active guy that loves to run around the yard and go for walks, so he would love a home that will give him plenty of playtime and exercise. Potato is a big goofy guy with so much personality. He loves getting lots of attention and snuggling up on the couch with you. Potato needs a family that is familiar with providing structure and boundaries.  We will not be considering first time dog owners for potato! We would prefer his adopter owns their home and would love previous extra large breed experience.  If you would like to welcome Potato home, please visit our website and fill out an application.  Astdogrescue.com ##1731934##

Story
Timber is a stunning brindle mastiff/ Great Dane mix who absolutely adores people! He has a goofy personality to him that lights up the room. His foster says he likes everyone he meets and can’t get enough back scratches. He loves to run and play and would enjoy having a fenced in yard or a family that is active. Timber is great with children, he doesn’t know he’s a big boy so older children may be best for him. He thinks he’s a lap dog and will cuddle with as long as you want. Timber does prefer to be the only dog because he loves his people so much. Timber would be an amazing addition to your family and being nothing but love and laughter and sloppy kisses. Timber Is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Welcome Plainer to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-year-old Great Dane. She came in with a male Great Dane and she does great with him. She has a little grey on her muzzle and she smiles and wrinkles her nose. She then puts her head in your hands. It was startling the first time we saw her wrinkle her nose. We thought it was a negative indicator but the more we worked with her the more we knew it was her way to smile. She is adorable. She is moderately active and would be fine with a lower energy family. She will be fine as an only pet and she would be fine with children. She is an adult so you won’t have all the puppy antics to put up with. She is good in her crate and good on a leash. She is currently going to be cleared for the heartworms and then spayed and readied for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Clare to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Clare is a 12 week old Great Dane/Lab mixed puppy. She is already 20 pounds and should be 70 pounds full grown is our best guess. She is crate trained, goes potty outside on a schedule. She is learning to use a wee pad. She is good in a car and good on a leash. She is good with all people and a very social puppy. She is around other dogs and does great. She will have some nice skills and work since she is in foster care and will stay there until she finds her new forever home. She was found as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is a puppy and likes to put things in her mouth. We call that mouthy. We would love someone that loves the Great Dane breeds. She would love to tag along on all your outdoor adventures. Anyone that knows the Danes know they can be energetic and they can relax. She is also a good combo of both. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Mando is a big ol’ cuddle bug! He LOVES lovin’s. He loves people, kids, walks, toys, cuddles, and kisses. Mando was found at a home as a 5 month old puppy on a chain with no food or water. The owner was approached and eventually surrendered him. This poor boy is now 10 months old and has lived in a shelter his entire life. Mando would thrive in a home and deserves one of his very own. He is wonderful with other dogs and is untested with cats. Mando is a 10 month old male Dane mix who is approximately 60 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Mando is a big boy and still puppy playful, so he may be too much for small children. Fence required. This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org. If approved, we will facilitate a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions you may have. We partner with the awesome transport service company Rescue Riders to safely and professionally move our animals to their loving new homes!

Story
The brightest star in the night sky is Sirius, the perfect name for this gorgeous Great Dane/mixed breed boy with a heart as big as the universe and a shining personality just waiting for his forever home and family. Sirius is following the stars north from our southern rescue partner to bring light and love to everyone who is lucky enough to meet him. This big boy is currently 76 pounds and most likely grow a bit more. He will remain a large sized (61-90 pounds) dog when he is fully grown. He is at his happiest when he can meet anyone who will pet him and give him plenty of time and attention. Sirius has never met a canine companion that he did not enjoy and is great with children. He is also great with cats. Sirius is working on his house and crate training. He is well behaved on a leash so long as positive and firm guidance continues to be part of his training. Rescue dogs can have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, new family, and new routines. Sirius is not crate trained at this time and if crate training is planned, Sirius needs a crate that is big enough for him to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out. Crates must never be used for punishment. Adopt this gentle giant who is searching for a place to shine his light and you, and he will be the center of attention as Sirius spreads his loving glow and laughter wherever he is. The adoption fee for Sirius is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.May 5, 2024, 7:05 am
