*Name: Duke *Age: 5 years old  *Current Weight: 120 lbs  *Adoption fee: $400 Meet Duke – Your Gentle Giant! If you've always dreamed of sharing your life with a Great Dane, Duke is ready to make that dream come true! This handsome boy is everything people love about the breed—fun-loving, affectionate, goofy, and happiest when he's with his people. Duke gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him a wonderful addition to a home with furry siblings. Because of his size and playful nature, he'd do best with older kids who can keep up with his giant-hearted enthusiasm. Duke has already undergone a gastropexy surgery, helping reduce his risk of gastric torsion (bloat), so he's ready to focus on what really matters—finding the loving family he's been waiting for. Whether he's making you laugh with his silly antics, leaning in for one of those classic Great Dane hugs, or stretching out for a well-earned nap, Duke is guaranteed to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of oversized cuddles. Could Duke be the gentle giant you've been searching for? Apply today and come meet your new best friend! Story
Welcome Plainer to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-year-old Great Dane. She came in with a male Great Dane and she does great with him. She has a little grey on her muzzle and she smiles and wrinkles her nose. She then puts her head in your hands. It was startling the first time we saw her wrinkle her nose. We thought it was a negative indicator but the more we worked with her the more we knew it was her way to smile. She is adorable. She is moderately active and would be fine with a lower energy family. She will be fine as an only pet and she would be fine with children. She is an adult so you won’t have all the puppy antics to put up with. She is good in her crate and good on a leash. She is currently going to be cleared for the heartworms and then spayed and readied for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
