Meet Mosey, she has the silkiest, softest fur, soulful eyes and huge heart. Mosey is 11 weeks old and has the silkiest, most playful personality. She loves everyone she meets and will eagerly follow after you for extra cuddles, scratches or kisses. Mosey is amazing with children and will be the perfect addition to a home where she grows up as part of the family. She has a blast playing with other dogs, loves squeaky toys (she will carry them with her) and is always ready to greet you with her silly smile. Mosey needs adopters committed to her puppy training so she can be your bestest girl This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Maverick is a 3 year old Great Dane mix. His DNA results came back as 60%PitBull 30%Great Dane and 7%Rhodesian Ridge Back. He is a GOOFY, fun loving boy who has lots of energy to burn. He loves to spend hours chewing on a bone and playing with his toys. Maverick went to a 6 week board and training program and his trainer will meet with his new family to bring them up to speed on his commands. It breaks our hearts more than words can describe to have to make this choice but he is not good with small children and we have a 3 month old. I fear the more mobile she gets the bigger the risk of something unfortunate happening are. He really is the sweetest, funniest dog I have ever had. I hope he can find a family who suits his needs. Under no circumstances should he be in a home with another dog or children under the age of 13. He has grown up around my cat but I would introduce on leash.

Welcome Plainer to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-year-old Great Dane. She came in with a male Great Dane and she does great with him. She has a little grey on her muzzle and she smiles and wrinkles her nose. She then puts her head in your hands. It was startling the first time we saw her wrinkle her nose. We thought it was a negative indicator but the more we worked with her the more we knew it was her way to smile. She is adorable. She is moderately active and would be fine with a lower energy family. She will be fine as an only pet and she would be fine with children. She is an adult so you won’t have all the puppy antics to put up with. She is good in her crate and good on a leash. She is currently going to be cleared for the heartworms and then spayed and readied for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Cassie is a truly special dog who is looking for her forever home. Cassie is an extremely loving 1.5-year-old, 48 lb mixed breed. She is believed to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. Cassie has faced some challenges; she is deaf and has impaired vision. Adding to this, she was sadly abandoned in a house in South Carolina after a hurricane last fall and has now been searching for a home for over a year. Despite her past, Cassie is a resilient and affectionate girl. Her favorite activity is snuggling with her people on the couch, and she is fully housetrained. She also enjoys car rides, toys, and playing in the yard. Our trainer is committed to continuing her training with her new family. Cassie is seeking a home that is ready to embrace a special needs dog and, in return, receive endless love and companionship.
