Story
Moose will be 2 yrs old on May 12th. He is 90 lbs of Great Dane, Lab and Hound we think. He grew up with small dogs and cats so he thinks he is small like them. Moose is housebroken and crate trained. He loves to run and play and definitely needs a fenced in yard or a very active person. I feel like Moose would do best with a companion as well. He has been through basic training and is very smart. It has taken him a couple of weeks to get onto my routine and not get upset when I leave. For the first couple of weeks, we’ve had to give him a little sedative when I leave the house and put him in his crate, but we have weaned him off of that and he is doing great. His previous mom worked out of the home so he spent very little time by himself.

Dixie is a 4 year old female. She is very sweet and loves attention. She is scared of loud noises, the dark of night and thunderstorms. She is the definition of a gentle giant and a professional lazy porch dog. Her ideal day consists of sleeping for most of it, eating whenever the opportunity presents itself, and spending the rest of her time following her favorite person around the house. Personal space? She’s never heard of it. She will happily force her love on you and is completely convinced that despite being a Great Dane, she is the perfect size to be a lap dog. She knows sit and shake, loves food, and is happiest simply being wherever her people are. She doesn’t need constant entertainment—give her a comfortable place to nap, a porch to lounge on, plenty of snacks, and someone to love, and she’s content. She would be a wonderful addition to a family looking for a laid-back, affectionate, slightly oversized shadow who will follow you everywhere.
