Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

I am looking for a very special home, the shelter team has worked hard to help me with my dog reactivity, I would love a home on a property, with no dogs, I can now see other dogs and be okay with them, but I don't want to live with them or go to dog parks. I will love you with all of my heart, I am great with all kind of loud sounds, and am not scared of the riding lawn mower. She is a wonderful, sweet that loves playing with other dogs, but some dogs are not hip on her puppy active play (which is normal for large dogs, so dogs her size or energy level in the home is advisable.). She loves hanging out with family and on their furniture.. She is crate trained and does walk on a leash. She will require a securely fenced yard and any required continued dog training. Great Dane experience is required. No apartments. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. Fathom is a 7 year old great dane found loose in a neighborhood on the edge of SE portland and Gresham. The owner of her microchip gave us information and she has stayed with us for about 4 weeks. She is a lovely companion who happens to be about at hand-height when you are standing together for easy petting! She is amazing with humans including kids but can be reactive with large dogs. She can get along with large dogs when introduced safely and correctly but it takes time to get her comfortable with large dogs. She is good with small dogs and her old owner says she is good with cats. She doesn't go potty in the house and is well trained and well behaved. Truly the only challenge is that big dogs scare her even on walks. We would love to keep her but didn't plan to adopt a dog and need someone else to give her a home for her golden years. I can give some supplies with her. She is in great shape for 7 years old, we would have guessed she was only 3-5 until the old owner told us 7.
