Story
Bo DukeMeet Bo Duke — the other half of the Duke Boys dream team. This goofy, lovable giant has all the charm, sweetness, and loyal companionship you could ask for wrapped up in one extra-large package.Believed to be a mix of Great Dane, Labrador Retriever, and possibly Mastiff, Bo is a gentle soul who doesn’t quite understand just how big he is. Personal space? Never heard of it. If Bo had his way, he’d spend every moment leaning on you, cuddling beside you, or following you around like your very own oversized shadow.Like his namesake from The Dukes of Hazzard, Bo is full of personality and always ready for adventure — after a good play session or adventure all he really wants involves snacks, belly rubs, and hanging out with his humans.Bo has an incredibly loving temperament and a calm, easygoing personality that makes him impossible not to adore. He’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home simply by being in it.If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a big head, an even bigger heart, and just enough Duke Boy charm to keep life entertaining, Bo Duke is waiting to meet you.If you are interested in meeting Bo Duke, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours). Benny is a joyful, playful pup full of energy and always ready for his next adventure! He loves squeaky toys and will happily bounce around the yard or play a game of fetch to burn off some of that fun-loving energy. He’s great with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a family. Benny is already house trained and crate trained—such a smart boy! He’s currently working on his basic commands and will need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him polish his manners. With his long legs like a Great Dane and a sleek Lab-like coat, Benny is as handsome as he is athletic. He would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. After a day of fun, Benny is more than happy to hang out with his people and soak up all the love. If you’re looking for a happy, energetic, and affectionate companion, Benny just might be your perfect match! Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.
