Krackers is the most loving dog I’ve ever met. He’s never met a dog he didn’t like, he doesn’t bark at other dogs- unless you’re a terrier terrorizing him on the other side of the fence. Krackers doesn’t know he’s a gentle giant he believes he’s a little purring kitten. Krackers just wants to be loved and walked. He’s a good boy. He deserves to run in streams and sprint through open fields. And be with a loving family that can walk him anytime and take him on adventures.

Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! This 6-month-old Great Dane/Boxer mix is a playful, water-loving pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Breaker is happiest when he's splashing around in the water, chasing toys, or romping around the yard. With the goofy energy of a Boxer and the gentle nature of a Dane, he’s the perfect mix of fun and affection. He’s great with other dogs, loves being around people, and is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves a swim. Breaker is doing well with crate training and learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. He’d thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. If you're looking for a loyal, silly, and splash-happy companion, Breaker is your guy! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Breaker click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-576 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

Please contact JoEllen (sagdinfo@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/       ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process.  Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Minnie is a beautiful 6-year-old Great Dane who weighs approximately 95 pounds. She was found at a park on the south side of San Antonio.  She was skin & bones and had been on her own for a long time.  She was very distrustful of people and it took a couple of days of sitting with lunch meat to gain her trust.    Minnie doesn't have a mean bone in her body.  She will need a family that can give her a bit to trust them.  She does not seek attention but is comfortable laying on her cushy bed and watching things go on.  She is a little flinchy at being petted but has gotten a lot better. Minnie does have a few lumps on her - the vet says they are nothing to worry about and suggested not removing them.  She was also of course heartworm positive but has been treated and will be negative on her next test in 6 months.   We are looking for a quiet home for this gentle lady where she can live the rest of her life not having to worry about anything!   Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references. Additional questions may be directed to sagdinfo@gmail.com. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.   We also host additional adoption events throughout the year.  Please visit our Facebook pages for the most current event schedules.   https://m.facebook.com/HomewardBoundDogRescue/?tsid=0.11494693985281179&source=typeahead   https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=185497084826453&tsid=0.7626298417270982&source=typeahead     If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.     We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.     Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.   Please apply here:   http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/   June 24, 2025, 11:40 am
