Sammy's foster mom says he's going to make a fabulous pet for someone willing to give him a chance. His previous homes didn't provide much structure or training so he's grown into a 110lb puppy that's learning how to behave responsibly. Sammy is a 9-month-old blue eyed Great Dane with a whole lot of personality packed into a very big body! He’s active, goofy, and always ready for his next adventure. Because he’s still a growing boy with lots of energy, he’s looking for a home with large-breed experience and people who enjoy staying active. He needs structure, exercise and mental stimulation to live his best life. Sammy is learning his manners and will need continued work on leash skills and basic training, but he’s eager to learn and loves people. He does great with other dogs and makes friends everywhere he goes! Cats are unknown. Due to his size and enthusiasm, older kids would be best—little ones might get accidentally bowled over by so much love. He uses a crate when left alone at home. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
