Story
Welcome Plainer to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-year-old Great Dane. She came in with a male Great Dane and she does great with him. She has a little grey on her muzzle and she smiles and wrinkles her nose. She then puts her head in your hands. It was startling the first time we saw her wrinkle her nose. We thought it was a negative indicator but the more we worked with her the more we knew it was her way to smile. She is adorable. She is moderately active and would be fine with a lower energy family. She will be fine as an only pet and she would be fine with children. She is an adult so you won’t have all the puppy antics to put up with. She is good in her crate and good on a leash. She is currently going to be cleared for the heartworms and then spayed and readied for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Hello, my name is Kyra! I’m an 8 year old Great Dane weighing about 100 pounds. I know I’m a little older, but don’t let that fool you, I’m full of energy, healthy, and love to go on walks. I’m very friendly with everyone, cats, kids, dogs, and even a pig! I know sit, speak, shake, and stay. I walk great on a leash. I am fully potty trained and will tell you when I need to go. I prefer to have my own space when I eat, and I don't like sharing my kennel as it's my safe space. Overall I'm the best girl though and I’d love a home and family to spend the rest of my golden years with.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as ""Out of Town"" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Hobbs - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Oh my, it's BIG puppy, but puppy cuteness overload just the same going on here!!! This sweet boy has almost ALL the boxes checked - Affectionate - check Sweet - check Huggable and Kissable - double that check Playful - check Cute as a button(the big 4 hole kind!) - oh for sure that's a check Pawsome family members - yep, that's a check The family - no check :( ...yet! The name Hobbs is often thought to be a name that implies a pioneering spirit, a natural born leader, highly focused, and achievement oriented. Enduring hardship to try out new things come naturally and also being energetic and confident. Your heart’s desire is to help and care for those you love. You treasure family values and traditions and are willing to sacrifice yourself for the sake of others. Oh wow! Do I have a pawsome name or what?!! I am still just a puppy, although a big puppy, still just a puppy at heart. Playful, goofy, sweet, active... I has got it all. Being around 7 months and around 71ish lbs I still have some growing yet to do. But no matter my size I just want a loving family and a safe home. Remember, I might be big in size but that just means more of me to love you! I does do great with people but would do best with older kids, as I would hate to accidently knock over a little one. I also gets along with the other foster pups and would love having a playful sibling to have fun in the yard together stealing...err did I say that out loud? I really meant to say sharing toys!! I am working on my house training and almost have it down completely. I'm a smart cookie so it'll be a walk in the park. Speaking of which, I love going for walks and would do great with an action adventure family that goes on lots of outdoor activities. I would make a great companion for hikes/camping and neighborhood strolls or any other adventures you want to try out. I'd sure be game to give them a whirl too!! With my short sleek shiny coat, a quick wash, rinse and towel dry and I'm good to go, fairly low maintenance. That's always a good thing, cuz you know what that means don't you?! Oh yeah, it leaves lots of extra time for my 'spoil me rotten' time!! Are you searching for that boy that will be your constant? Always there for you, having your back? A big fella with an even bigger heart? Look no further, I just might be that boy. I just need YOUR help getting that last box checked!!

Story
My name is Javi. I am a big, solid, handsome boy! I was being surrendered to a high kill shelter with my sisters when I was saved at the last second...in the parking lot....before we entered the pound :) Now THAT is a RESCUE STORY!!! I am a BIG boy with a soft heart. I love to snuggle and get love from all the dogs in my foster home. I am a little slower to cuddle with my people until I know you are MY people! I am still shyer than my sisters from our ruff beginning. However, I have been working hard to learn to love and trust like sissies and am ready for YOU!! I especially love the tiny one who doesn't get that I'm just a giant teddy bear. I have the most adorable eyes and get so excited for treats, in fact kids are my FAVORITE :) Have you ever tasted their fingers?? Chicken nuggets and Cheerios ALL DAY LONG!! but I digress..... I want my furever family, little ones included and so if you like BIG BIG DOGS, APPLY!!! I am going to be WELL over 100# so must love BIG MUTTS! Some basic information about Javi; he is male, Great Dane/ Labrador Retriever mix, and is expected to be extra large sized, 100+ when fully grown. I am smart and sweet and will be great with another dog to play with, a confident and social dog will help me be social too. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
