🐾 Meet Appa Appa is a loving, loyal dog who forms strong bonds with his people. He is very gentle and affectionate and enjoys cuddling, sleeping near his person, and being part of a calm daily routine. When he meets new people, he can get excited and likes to “hug” as a way of saying hello. He does well on walks, transitions calmly on leash, and responds well to structure and guidance. Appa enjoys companionship, consistency, and having a space where he feels secure. Appa would thrive best as the only pet, or in a home without small dogs or cats. He is not dog-reactive on walks or outside the home, but he can become territorial with other animals in his personal space. He is a wonderful dog who deserves a home that matches his needs, ideally with experienced owners, older children or teens, and no small animals. Our goal is to find Appa a safe, loving home where he can fully settle in and be his best self.

Story

Sage was born in June of 2020, was raised by another owner, not trained or socialized. Escaped from the home and became pregnant at 9mos. I adopted her after she had her pups and I rehomed them. She is reactive to other people and most other dogs. She is best with a single owner, she has been around our two cats and gets along with them but I do not know about other cats. I can no longer care for her and she is now not tolerating my 21 year old daughter. She has been to the vet and she knows how to do that and I premedicate her as well. She did well with the vet 1-1 for an eye procedure without general anesthesia just a local and the staff were very happy with her. She loves to walk and I walk her twice a day. Like all GP's will bark and alert at just about any noise. Acute hearing, eyesight and sense of smell. A very dedicated guardian that will need only one owner. I will not place her in a home with children and or toddlers. A one person home is what she needs.

Beau is a male dog, approx 5 months old. 50ish pounds. He is going to be a big dog. Doing great at foster home. Gentle and sweet. Goes to door when he needs to go potty. Gets along well with both dogs at foster’s house. A 13 year old golden and a 3 year old lab. Loves to play and relax in the sunshine. Great puppy. Adopt Athena! This beautiful puppy is a great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. She was a litter of 12 and we are able to help eight of them. 4 were given away by the owners. The owners had several dogs who were not fixed and had an accidental litter. Athena is a very sweet dog who loves to play and will be a bigger dog as she grows. She’s going to be a loyal companion and has been around farm animals/dogs. She was great with kids and a very great temperament.
