Story
Luna is a great and loving dog that is great with kids but unfortunately does not do well with certain other dogs and cats and it just isn’t working out with our older dog. She had puppies 2 years ago but since then she’s been spade. She’s a very lovable dog but she does not lick she never has since she’s been a puppy. We’re looking for a loving home for her preferably a home with no other animals.

Story
Angel is a very sweet girl. I got her a few years ago when her original owner couldn't care for her anymore. I dont have time to give her the life she needs anymore as much as I try. She's very smart and is amazing with children, she's a little skiddish at first once she warms up to you, she'll be your shadow. She has a bum back leg due to an injury that will never heal all the way, but she doesn't let that stop her from enjoying walks or getting around. She'll come with her food bowl, water bowl, lead, and her crate if you'd like that as well.

Story
Meet Chloe — A Gentle Giant with an Even Bigger Heart Chloe is a stunning Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing approximately 95 pounds, with an estimated date of birth of 2023. Beneath her impressive size is a sweet, affectionate girl who simply wants to be near her people. Chloe is the definition of a loyal companion. Wherever you go, she’s happy to follow, content just being part of your day. She has a wonderful mix of playful and loving energy—one minute she’s making you laugh with her goofy zoomies and playful antics, and the next she’s leaning against you for affection or settling in for some quiet cuddle time. She enjoys leisurely walks and is doing very well on a leash, taking in the sights and smells of the world at her own pace. Chloe prefers the comforts of home over a crate and would do best with a family that can provide her with a cozy space where she feels safe and secure. Because of her size and sometimes enthusiastic, clumsy play style, Chloe is looking for a home with adults or older children who are comfortable around large-breed dogs. She would thrive with a family that appreciates her gentle nature and is committed to continuing her confidence-building journey. Chloe has so much love to give and is ready to become someone's loyal best friend. If you're looking for a devoted companion, a gentle soul, and a dog who will love you wholeheartedly, Chloe may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️ If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application. Story
Meet Ella Mae — A Great Pyrenees Mix Puppy Ready to Steal Your Heart Approximate Date of Birth: Mid-April 2026 Ella Mae is one sweet, smart, and steadily blossoming pup. When she first came into her foster home, she was timid and scared — clearly a little girl who'd been through more than a puppy should have to handle. But since then, she's come out of her shell in the best way, learning every day to trust more, relax more, and feel safe. Watching her grow into herself has been such a joy, and it's clear this is a puppy who's just going to keep thriving. She's doing excellent with her potty training, no accidents at all, and sleeps soundly through the night in her pen with a frozen peanut butter treat to keep her busy — quiet the whole time, according to her foster's son. Ella absolutely loves people and considers them her favorite thing in the world. She's cat-tolerant too, curious but respectful, especially around the resident cat who puts her in her place from time to time; Ella is a very submissive girl, both with cats and with other dogs. When it comes to play, she's obsessed with her jolly ball, loves a good game of fetch, and will happily settle in with a bully stick for a while. Her energy is puppy energy for sure, but overall low to medium — she's just as happy to plop down and chill nearby while you cook dinner or do the dishes. She's a total velcro dog who will follow you from room to room, always wanting to be near her people. Ella Mae is still a puppy and learning, but she listens well and picks things up quickly. Obedience classes are recommended to help her keep building confidence and manners. We're not sure what her dad brought to the mix, but with Great Pyrenees mom in her, we expect Ella Mae to grow into a medium-to-large dog. At14 weeks she's already up to about 16+ lbs, so we're estimating she'll land around 60 lbs or more once fully grown. She will need a securely fenced in yard (no invisible fences) so she can go on patrol. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, easygoing puppy who just needs the right people to keep helping her believe the world is safe, Ella Mae might be exactly who you've been waiting for. If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will be in touch! The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure a healthy new pup for your family.
