Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Blake, the magnificent almost 3-year-old, 74lb Great Pyrenees at St. Frances Farm sanctuary in SC. With her striking beauty and typical breed traits, Blake is on the hunt for a meaningful job and acreage to explore. While she wouldn't mind the occasional puppachino treat, her heart lies in fulfilling her ancestral duty of guarding livestock and putting her skills to use.  Off the leash, Blake is a wonder to watch as she gracefully roams the property, freely exploring her surroundings. Initially, she was shy and unsocialized when she arrived at the sanctuary with her sister, but thanks to the dedicated staff's efforts, Blake has blossomed into a more confident and affectionate dog.    Though she may be wary of strangers at first, earning her trust will grant you a loyal and loving companion for life. Blake yearns for a forever home where she can run, roam, and be surrounded by the beauty of nature. If you have a farm or ample space that needs a furry guardian, Blake is ready to send you her impressive resume. She's a pro at interviews, and with your love and care, she will thrive and live her best life as the regal Great Pyrenees she was born to be.   Blake is currently housed at St. Francis Farm in Carlisle, South Carolina. Her adoption fee is $300.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 24, 2024, 11:47 am

Story
Meet cuddly Mario. He is a brown, dusted with black, and white Great Pyrenees mix born 12/25/2022. He is going to be big! He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and has been given a ProHeart 6 for heartworm protection. His adoption donation is $450.00 and the transport fee $165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
***Located in Alabama but available for transport in the Midwest and New England**** Meet the beautiful puppy Maggie. She is probably a Pyrenees hound Labrador mix but that’s only a best guess. Currently she weighs 17 lbs at 14-15 weeks old so she may be a medium-medium large size. She is a very smart puppy so house training should be a breeze. If you are looking for a puppy to be a buddy for an existing dog she would be an awesome candidate. She is great with dogs, cats and kids but older kids only please, since puppies have sharp teeth! She is such a sweetheart. Maggie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and microchipped. Transport Available to NE and the Midwest. Please email us for more information at conniesk9rescue@gmail.com

Story
Adoption donation $499 weight  84 lbs Age: 1 year as of 3/23/2024          Logan is a friendly and sweet boy whose father was a purebred Great Pyrenees and mom was a 35 lbs mixed breed. Logan loves to run and play, he is good with all the dogs in his foster home and he is house trained, but like any rescue  may need some training and patience while he settles in at a new home.       Logan loves toys and bones and attaches strongly to his person, he will follow his Foster Mom around and likes to lie at her feet. He also loves to lay his big head on your lap!           Logan’s original owners in Mississippi put two of his sisters in a cardboard box in front of their house with a sign that said “free puppies.” Wags rescued the puppies and found them loving homes. The owners refused to give up Logan and his sister Lila but kept them tied up outdoors.        Wags was finally able to  convince them to relinquish the two and Logan and Lila went to the rescue, enjoying freedom for the first time.       Lila has just been adopted, now it’s time for  Logan to find a loving home of his own. Logan  would love a yard to run around in or  another dog to play with. He has  been around children and has been fine with them, he just loves to be part of the family, All Wags adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip  and transport to the northeast. Story

DO NOT CALL RESCUE but if you have questions u can TEXT NO CALLS to 5857464609/9145522656 - please do an application BEFORE texting MORE VIDEO ON REQUEST! Meet Boone! Oh this is a super cool dog - truly a super model and spectacular! Acoording to his family - HOUSETRAINED and CRATE TRAINED... lover still with a puppy spirit - super delicious in every way. He is best in a home without young children, as typical of his breed, he loves to watch over the ones he loves and protects them if he feels threatened. He came from a family who had him since he was a puppy and adore him but there are too many small kids now in the extended family and it is stressing poor Boone. He gets along fine with their other dog and their kids. Has NEVER shown aggression to any family member - just gets edgy with others. He loves to play in the yard and is GREAT on a leash and loves being by your side. So smart and would love to go to a doggy class to learn more advanced cool skills. Great for an active or laid back family who wants not just a super model but a gorgeous lover. Just a super cool mix and sooo handsome and gentle. Wants to love u and for u to love him badly! His family reports, "Boone is a lovable, energetic, 2-year-old pup. He's a medium-sized dog, weighing ~65 lbs and is full-grown. He is a short-haired dog with the best freckles. He loves going on long walks and playing with other dogs. He's never met a dog he didn't love. He would do great in a home with another dog who is happy to have a friend to play with. He is food-driven and responsive to commands - sit, stay, lay down, go to your bed, etc. He has been through puppy class training and 1-1 obedience training. He walks well on a leash but should remain leashed as recall is not yet there for off-leash. He is completely house-trained. He asks to go outside when he needs to go. He sleeps through the night. He's an early to bed little guy and will sleep in when given the opportunity. He does well in the car and enjoys a long drive. He does not like the water, rain will keep him indoors and swimming isn't an activity he engages in. He loves to snuggle and is incredibly loving. He would be best placed in a home without children, as he has shown anxiety around children he doesn't know well and it is unpredictable how he responds to children. He adores all adults, exuding excitement whenever he meets someone new. Boone is neutered and up-to-date on all shots and vet care. He has a mild skin allergy that is currently treated with one 16 mg pill of Apoquel daily. He has not been diagnosed with a specific allergy and it is anticipated that he will outgrow this. We greatly adore him but want him to live a stress free life and unfortunately we worry our home could make him more upset about unknown children who come and go too often." Boone is a big dog but about 65 lbs very tall and is a good weight - he is close to a perfect size right now. He has had his vaccines and microchip and has been dewormed/defleaed too. HEARTWORM NEGATIVE neutered etc... Donation minimum required and all of his vetting is complete. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in South Salem NY - no exceptions.
