Story
Meet cuddly Mario. He is a brown, dusted with black, and white Great Pyrenees mix born 12/25/2022. He is going to be big! He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and has been given a ProHeart 6 for heartworm protection. His adoption donation is $450.00 and the transport fee $165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Scrum!  He is a 3 month old bundle of love! His mom is only about 30 lbs, but it is suspected that dad may be a Great Pyr. When full grown, he will likely be at least 50 lbs. He is very social and loves to play but also loves to snuggle and cuddle. He is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping him continue his training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. He would love a doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep him from getting bored. Scrum is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. Scrum will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives prior to adoption. If you would like to meet this handsome guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Scrum is located in North Alabama. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please note that we can not guarantee the age, expected weight or breed of any animal. What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  Meet Blake, the magnificent almost 3-year-old, 74lb Great Pyrenees at St. Frances Farm sanctuary in SC. With her striking beauty and typical breed traits, Blake is on the hunt for a meaningful job and acreage to explore. While she wouldn't mind the occasional puppachino treat, her heart lies in fulfilling her ancestral duty of guarding livestock and putting her skills to use.  Off the leash, Blake is a wonder to watch as she gracefully roams the property, freely exploring her surroundings. Initially, she was shy and unsocialized when she arrived at the sanctuary with her sister, but thanks to the dedicated staff's efforts, Blake has blossomed into a more confident and affectionate dog.    Though she may be wary of strangers at first, earning her trust will grant you a loyal and loving companion for life. Blake yearns for a forever home where she can run, roam, and be surrounded by the beauty of nature. If you have a farm or ample space that needs a furry guardian, Blake is ready to send you her impressive resume. She's a pro at interviews, and with your love and care, she will thrive and live her best life as the regal Great Pyrenees she was born to be.   Blake is currently housed at St. Francis Farm in Carlisle, South Carolina. Her adoption fee is $300.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. At the time of adoption a donation is required before the animal is placed in an adoptive home.     $600 - All dogs  $300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)  $200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs   $150 - For Kittens $125 - For Cats    *IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS ANIMAL, PLEASE SUBMIT  AN ADOPTION APPLICATION  ( Dog / Cat )  AND ONCE APPROVED, SOMEONE FROM THIS ORGANIZATION WILL CONTACT YOU.
