Apollo is great with dogs & loves people. He's a typical pyr who likes to play but is just as content being a couch potato. Apollo requires a tall, secure wood fence. He sails over a 4 ft fence & climbs anything taller if its a wire fence. He's very intent on seeing what's on the other side or visiting the other side :) You can't blame him, he is named after the Greek God for healing or all the spaceships we have sent into space??? I like adventure :) just take me with you when you go!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Has anyone seen a white bumble bee??? Us either!! Yet, here we are..... We are quite the pair, cute and big and lumbering around the rescue ;) We r not a bonded pair, but you could get quite alot of fun and hair with two of us... well even if you only adopt one of us. We are happy dogs, each of us have a sweet, cuddly kind of energy and we r ready for your couch. So if you are looking for a big fluffy friend, adopt one of us soon!! Greek Mythology aside, I am the BEST of the BEST :) This is what my friends say about me, "Zeus is a calm guy good with all people & no issues with dogs. Good on leash & crate trained. Zeus is a typical pyr good with any family and a great couch potato. Lives attention & pets" So I may be a Greek God (or TWO) but i have simple needs, a nice family, who loves my soft, fluffy breed, another doggy friend (or not) and a great vacuum cleaner! PUNKY!!! Punky, a young adult Great Pyrenees, was found emaciated in a field caring for her large litter of puppies. Her puppies are all thriving in their foster homes, and now, so too is Punky. She is steadily gaining much-needed weight. Her name is deceiving. Far from being a punk, she is cautious with people she doesn’t know, and even shy around new dogs to whom she is slowly introduced. Once her trust is earned, though, she becomes quite loving. Cuddling, hugs, slow brushing are activities she greatly enjoys. She is very sensitive to raised voices or a lot of chaos, so a quieter, calmer environment would best suit this gentle soul who is learning that people can be trusted for the long haul. Story
Jax is a Great Pyrenees/lab mix. He is 5 years old, and is a very happy go lucky guy when he trusts you. He does need some work with new people as he is rather fearful. And would be best in a home with no children or other pets. He is great on a leash and loves to run free. Along with his great Pyrenees instincts he’s an excellent guard dog. He is used to being in his own area, if that is a closed off mud room, or a garage. He does well indoors, he just sheds a lot and has a history of claiming your blankets as his own. He has spent his whole life with our corgi Ellie, he loves her and protects her with all he’s got. With the right person who is willing to put some training time in, Jax could be the perfect dog for you!
