Story
DOB: 12/24/2024 Breed: mother is full Great Pyrenees, father is black shepherd and border collie. Spayed: 9/25 Vaccines: rabies and parvo bundle Good with children: has not had experience with babies or climbing toddlers. But good with kids 5 and up. Has had some protective tendencies towards unkind neighbor kids; barking, in standing her ground, jumping. No biting or growling. Notes from the current owner- “Our family brought Hunny and her brother home as puppies and have loved the 14 months we’ve had with her. Unfortunately, our property is not big enough for both dogs who together they have gotten into a brawl with our neighbor’s dog. We feel they would do better split up. Our vet has told us if he could have Hunny’s personality every day he would have an easy job. She is a very sweet and loyal girl. This is a very difficult decision for our family. We hope and pray a loving, kind and caring family will adopt our girl and give her a good life.” Good with other dogs: she is great with her brother, but we can’t vouch for her being good with other dogs. She seems very protective. Could possibly be trained in this area. Please research this breed mix! Working amazing dogs!

Story
Iceman – 2 Month Old Great Pyrenees Mix Meet Iceman, an adorable 2 month old Great Pyrenees mix with the softest fluff and sweetest personality. His mom is a Great Pyrenees mix, and based on dogs seen in the area, we believe dad may be a pure Great Pyrenees. While that is not guaranteed, we do expect Iceman to grow into a large, fluffy adult dog. Great Pyrenees are a livestock guardian breed known for being loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. Iceman will likely have these traits as he matures. Because of this, we are looking for a home that is familiar with or willing to learn about livestock guardian breeds and their unique needs. At this age, Iceman is a typical young puppy who enjoys being held, playing, and exploring his surroundings. As he grows, he will need structure, consistent training, and space appropriate for a large breed dog. Iceman is: Neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccines and preventions Adoption Fee: $250 Local Adoption (in Texas) $550 Out of State Adoption (includes transport to your area) If you are prepared for a large, loyal companion and understand the needs of guardian breeds, Iceman could be a wonderful addition to your family.

Story
I am looking to rehome my 9-year-old dog to a patient, understanding, and loving home. She is a sweet, goofy, and affectionate couch potato who absolutely loves her people. She enjoys belly rubs, being close to her person, and thrives on affection and companionship. Once she bonds with someone, she is deeply loyal and very attached. She does best as the only dog and only animal in the home, ideally in a quieter environment with land where she can feel calm and settled. She becomes highly reactive and overwhelmed around other dogs, so she needs a home that can avoid those situations. She also has separation anxiety and can bark when left alone, so she would do best with someone who is patient, consistent, and either home often or willing to work gently with her over time. When she gets very excited—especially when someone comes home—she can become overstimulated and may have accidents, typically bowel movements, when she is overwhelmed. This is usually tied to excitement or anxiety

Story
Angel is exactly who her name says she is. Honestly, minus the heavenly harps playing, she walks into every space with a soft, steady peacefulness. The day that we met her we all agreed that she melted away whatever stress we had been carrying. She is 75lbs of chill adoration. She’s estimated to be around 4 years old, weighs 74 lbs, and looks very much like a Great Pyrenees, though rescue rules apply, so her exact breed and birthday are observational and not guaranteed. Go watch Angel in action on YouTube, t’s the best way to see just how naturally she settles into everything around her, then come back to read a bit more about her. https://youtu.be/O1Aix0qu0Tc Angel is currently fostered in a home with two adults, a newborn baby, and three large dogs, and she has been nothing short of a dream. House trained, crate trained, and full of those easy, respectful house manners that make her easy to have… she just gets it. Her foster shares that she’s incredibly smart and has blended into their daily life without a ripple. All four dogs free roam together without issue, and Angel doesn’t even need a crate because she has proven to be so trustworthy in the home. She’s a low-key, go-with-the-flow kind of girl. Not in a hurry, not looking to stir things up, just happy to exist alongside her people and enjoy the moment. She greets new people with a gentle, loving energy and happily accepts all the pets you’re willing to give. With the newborn baby, she has been calm, respectful, and completely appropriate, which speaks volumes about her steady, thoughtful temperament. With other animals, Angel continues to show just how well-rounded she is. She’s done beautifully with both large and small dogs and our house cat.. When introduced to him cat, she gave a polite sniff and then chose to focus on her people instead, keeping a respectful, easy distance. It’s that easy going kind of “live and let live” attitude that’ll make joining a multi-pet home feel simple. Angel would be perfectly happy as a solo dog soaking up all your love, or as part of a pack. A home with a yard would suit her best so she can wander, stretch her legs, and enjoy the world at her own pace. One small note, thunderstorms aren’t her favorite, so a little extra comfort during stormy weather will be needed and go a long way for her. If you are a lover of the breed, or just fell for the floor and the face, here is your chance! No more waiting for that calm, steady, truly good dog who fits into life without asking for much in return… you have found it! Angel is ready and waiting for you! Apply today!
