Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: none Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 29, 2025, 11:31 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  A note from Duke:  Hey there, I'm Duke!  A soft, loyal, slightly goofy guy looking for my forever home.  I'm happiest when I get to run, dig cozy holes to nap in, or go on sniffing adventures (my nose leads the way!).  I'm a bit of a climber too-fences don't slow me down much-so I'll need a safe, secure space to keep my exploring paws where they belong. I love food, toys, and finding the squeaker in every toy I meet.  Snacks and playtime are my two favorite things!  I also know basic commands and I'm a really good listener when you talk to me kindly-I'll even roll right over for belly rubs.  I get along great with dogs of all sizes (except one unneutered male who just rubbed me the wrong way) and I'm cat friendly too.  The truth is, I'm a gentle soul.  I get a little scared when voices are raised or there's sudden movement,  so I'd do best with someone who has a calm, patient energy. Leash walks are fun-unless there's something really interesting to smell, then I might tug a bit.  My fur is super soft, but when I get muddy (which I love), the dirt mysteriously ends up on the floor once it dries...can't imagine how that happens?!  Oh, and one more thing, I don't like the color red.  Don't ask me why, I just don't trust it.  If you've got a farm or plenty of room to roam, I'd be the happiest boy by your side.  I've got a big heart, a playful spirit, and I'm ready to love my person forever.  Love, Duke. Duke is in Snohomish and can be available within WA-OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 27, 2025, 9:09 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello!  I'm Elton, aka Elton Cheese and Crackers because I LOVE cheese!  I have to tell you, I had a pretty rough start in life, but now that I'm in my foster home I'm gaining confidence and learning how to be a dog!  My foster parents tell me that I'm doing great and learn very quickly.  They're impressed at how I've progressed, but I will still need someone with time and patience to continue working with me. I am crate trained, potty trained, walk well on a leash, and get along famously with my dog brother.  I love dogs!  My foster parents are currently working with me on come here and sit.  Foster mom buys me all sorts of tasty snacks to encourage training.  I've also just learned how fun it is to have a Kong toy to play with, especially when they're filled with Cheerios!  I have ridden in vehicles and feel confident enough to jump out on my own but still need help getting in.  We're continuing to work on this.  I also love sleeping on my dog beds.  I am now a master of the stairs in my foster home!  That one sure was scary to conquer.  I will need a playful medium to large dog in the home to help me continue to learn and enjoy all the things about being a dog. I'll admit that I don't even know yet how to play with a tug or squeaky toy.  Let's talk about outside, I LOVE being outside!  I find a spot by our big pine tree and sit and sniff the air or hang out on the deck when I'm not zooming.  I may be a little shy when I first meet you but it's nothing personal. I was not socialized for the first 10 months of my life. I meet people on our walks and I am curious and not afraid of them.  I hope you'd like to make me part of your family, I'm so excited to get to do all sorts of great dog things as I grow up!  All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tater Tot (or Tot Tot) is a sweet, one year old Pyr-mix who had a rough start. He was part of the group taken in by the Oregon Humane Society earlier this year, so he had a lot of fear when he first went into his foster home. Since he never got to do normal dog things, he still has some puppy curiosity and things to learn. He's working on things like leash-walking, and taking car rides. His foster parents have to remind him that he's safe even out in the big world. His forever home will have to continue to have patience with him. Once he's comfortable, he's a big cuddle bug. Tater loves belly rubs and is even starting to enjoy playing with toys, getting brushed, and taking treats. He is house trained, knows "sit", and sleeps in his crate at night. Tater loves to be with his people most of the time and is also good with kids. He likes the resident dog, and also those he meets on walks. Tater would also do fine as an only dog, especially as a sidekick to someone who's working from home. Tater Tot is currently being fostered in Bend, Oregon and can be adopted within Oregon/Washington. Story
Meet Coco the Bachelorette — a big-hearted beauty ready to hand out her final rose! 🌹 Coco is everything you could want in a leading lady — sweet, affectionate, and endlessly loving to everyone she meets. She has a calm, easygoing energy with just the right touch of playfulness. She’ll happily lounge beside you for most of the day, but hand her a toy and she’ll light up with joy. This fluffy Great Pyrenees mix is both house- and crate-trained, intuitive, and smart. She’s good with other dogs and cats, and while she hasn’t met children yet, her gentle, loving nature suggests she’d be wonderful with them too. Coco isn’t high-maintenance when it comes to activity — about an hour of daily exercise keeps her perfectly content. What she really wants most is a cozy home, belly rubs, and someone who appreciates her big heart. Like any great love story, Coco has her quirks: she’s a bit of a foodie (so counters are best kept clear!), and she’s on a special diet and medication to keep her feeling her best. If you’re looking for a calm, cuddly, and charming companion who will fill your home with love and loyalty, Coco the Bachelorette is ready to meet her forever match. 🌸
