Story
Violet  is a beautiful female Anatolian Pyrenees, who enjoys the company of both humans and other animals. She will follow you around the house and give you a little bark or howl if she feels ignored. Violet expresses her love with doggie kisses on your hands and face. She adores playing with other dogs, toys, and occasionally grabbing a cell phone with her mouth and running around with it. She does well with cats. Her puppy curiosity probes her to follow them around. Violet  is outgoing and will make noises to let you know if she hears anything outside at night. Once to tell her that everything is okay, she quiets down. She is observant  and playful. After letting out her energy, she will stretch out next to you and take a nap.  Violet is currently being crate and potty trained. She utilizes the restroom outside but will also go on a potty/puppy pad if she cannot hold it and no one is home to let her outside. Violet is joy to have and a great addition to any family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 5:03 pm

Story
Lavendar is a lovely and charming female Anatolian Pyrenees. She gets along with everyone; humans and other animals. Lavendar absolutely loves to snuggle and cuddle. She will lay right next to you for hours and give you little doggie kisses. Lavendar is shy, but is slowly building her courage. She is super playful indoors and runs around with her toys. She does not bark much but will make her presence known if she feels like you need protecting. Lavendar will bark at other pets if she thinks they may be hurting you. Once you tell her everything is all right, she sits back down and snuggles against you. This little guardian is such an adorable joy to have around. Lavendar is currently being crate and potty trained. She utilizes the restroom outside but will also go on a potty/puppy pad if she cannot hold it and no one is home to let her outside. Story
Lolita came from a small shelter in south Texas. Her Mom is Pyrenees. She doesn’t have a Pyr Pa but she does have the Pyr paw! She is very sweet, gets along well with dogs of all sizes and loves to play with them. She is house trained and doesn’t need to be crated at night. She does well on a leash. Lolita is spayed and UTD on vaccines. This lovely, loving girl can be a little shy in new situations. She would do best in a home with other dogs and dog savvy children. Story
Hi! I’m Clark, nice to meet me. As you can tell by my perpetually disinterested expression, I am as cool and laid back as they come. But, don’t be fooled by my sleepy eyes, I love a good lap to climb into, a fun wrestling match where I always win, a game of tug of war where I always win, and a game of fetch where you probably will not get the ball back, so I always win. A few of my favorite past times are rolling in the grass on a nice cool day, gardening – well, digging holes for the flowers to go into, and socializing with humans and other animals. As a Pisces, I naturally enjoy water. A few other traits from this sun sign that I naturally possess are my easy-going nature, my sensitivity to those around me, and my faithfulness as a companion. Having a blood line that originated in the Pyrenees mountains of France, I am historically known as “le pastou” which means shepherd. As a shepherd, I will bring you affection, fearlessness, confidence, and loyalty. My gentleness and patience mean I am good with children and other animals. What more can I say, lol? I’m a great catch! (Pisces pun intended). Vote for Clark to be the “pastou” of your family!” Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 5:03 pm

Story
Meet Ben! A young dog with an old soul. Ben is a 1 year old big, fluffy, goofy boy who we think is a great pyranees mix. But with rescue its always a mystery! Ben currently weighs around 70 pounds but he's really a gentle giant. What Ben loves more than anything is being outside in nature, no matter the weather! So he will need a home with a fenced back yard where he can go out as he pleases. But when he's back in the house, he's a perfect gentleman who is quiet in his crate and perfectly housetrained. He will be happy to lounge around at your feet. His next favorite thing is food! Ben will do cute tricks for food, like sit, speak, and shake! It will be a great way to bond with him! Teaching him new things will be a cinch with a few good treats. If you're looking for a pup that doesn't need constant attention, Ben is your guy! As long as you have a backyard for him to hang out in, he will be perfectly content. He does pretty well on leash but doesn't really need walks to be happy. He can even entertain himself if you give him some toys to toss around! Ben is great with all people, loves kids and other dogs big and small, but no kitties for this regal boy. In summary, Ben is a sweet gentle giant who would thrive in a home with another canine pal or two, a nice back yard to frolic and spend his days, and a family to love him for who he is. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport.
