Meet Kodabear 🐾 Kodabear is a sweet “COVID puppy” who grew up primarily indoors, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. He’s naturally shy and may come across as vocal or cautious when meeting new people or animals- he tends to bark and may nip at ankles until he feels safe. But give him time and patience, and you’ll see his true personality shine. Once Kodabear warms up, he becomes incredibly affectionate, loyal, and loves to cuddle with his person. He forms strong bonds and is very protective of those he trusts. He can coexist with other animals, but slow introductions are key, as he needs extra time to adjust. Kodabear would do best with an experienced, patient adopter (w/o other animals/children preferred, but can live with other animals/children) who can help him build confidence and continue working on socialization and training. With the right home, Kodabear has so much love to give and will make a devoted companion. 🖤
