Story
Long Island, NY ❤️❤️Hospice Adopter ❤️❤️ Aspen is now ready to embark on her most incredible journey yet, a happy ending! This precious little girl emerged from a rescue mission from a hoarding situation, and is now eager to discover her forever family! Aspen, estimated to be 4-7 yrs old, possibly a havanese/mix, is a shining star who is UTD on vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped, and simply adores everyone! She effortlessly gets along with dogs, cats, and especially people. Who wouldn’t fall in love with this vibrant, sweet, and precious girl who delights in showering everyone with kisses? Medical- she has bladder cancer which is inoperable, but she’s on a treatment plan which will hopefully grant her possibly a few years. I know I can’t promise how much time this girl actually has left, but I do know that she deserves a chance to find her very own loving home to call her own! We are beyond grateful for our amazing foster family for going above and beyond for this girl❤️!! Please feel free to call or text 516-644-7759 or visit our website at www.christinasanimalsafehaven.com to apply to adopt this angel 😇.

Meet Tyson – 10 Pounds of Pure Boss Energy Don’t let the size fool you – Tyson is 10 pounds of attitude, charm, and fetch-playing fury at 6 years old . He’s got the spirit of a lion, the reflexes of a ninja, and the selective snuggling skills of a cat. Loves treats like they owe him money, and plays fetch like it’s an Olympic sport. Petting is strongly encouraged – until it’s not. You’ll know. Tyson struts on a leash like he’s walking a red carpet, but don’t expect him to share the spotlight – he needs to be the one and only dog in your life. Kids? Hard pass. He’s not about that toddler chaos. Tyson’s looking for a grown-up with dog-savvy skills and a taste for tiny drama kings. Think you’ve got what it takes to keep up with this compact legend? Tyson’s ready to rule your heart… and your living room! Neutered with all up to date shots Copy this link and paste into your browser and fill out : https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POSH/Dog

Story
Hi there! My name is Smiley, and I’m a 4 year old Havanese with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I weigh about 15 pounds—just the right size to snuggle in your arms or sit beside you wherever you go. True to my name, I’m always ready to greet you with a happy face and a wagging tail! I’m a very friendly and sweet girl who loves both people and other dogs. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or just hanging out and watching the world go by, I’m happiest when I’m with someone by my side. Everyone says I’m super cute—and between my curly coat and sweet eyes, I’m not going to argue! All I’m dreaming of is a forever home where I can share my sunshine every single day. If you’re looking for a happy, loving little companion to bring warmth and joy into your life, I’m right here—waiting with my best smile just for you. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hi, I’m Zaza! I’m a 6–7-year-old Havanese weighing in at 16 pounds of sweetness and spunk. I was finally surrendered from a puppy mill where I didn’t get the care or love I needed, but I’ve been learning what a good life can feel like in my foster home. I might not look like a full Havanese right now—some of my hair is still growing back from the neglect—but my coat is making a comeback, and so is my sparkle. At first, I can be a little shy around new people or dogs, but once I feel safe, my silly side comes out! I love zooming around the yard, chasing toys, and curling up in my big, fluffy bed like a little queen. I’ve made a ton of progress building confidence, and every day I surprise my foster family with my playful energy and goofy personality. I do well with other dogs once I get to know them, and I’ve even gained courage from my foster sibling. I would be happiest in a forever home with a furry sibling to keep me company. I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe, loved and surrounded by other dogs who can help me feel even more at ease. If you have a soft spot for sweet, gentle pups who just need a little time to blossom, I just might be the perfect match for you.
