hi Bess, this pretty lady is a 9 year old Havanese. She was surrendered to us by a commercial breeder when they no longer wanted her. She is 15 lbs. After a long time at the puppy mill, it is not surprising that Bess came to us very scared and nervous. While she allows all handling, she is a sensitive girl that needs time to open up and feel more comfortable. Despite that, she does well in playgroups with other little dogs and will cuddle up on a volunteer's lap when she needs a rest. She is hoping for a loving and patient home that will continue working on her confidence. She would also like a home with another dog that is social and friendly so she could model those behaviors after them. She will come spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. She was surrendered by a Lancaster commercial breeder after she became “too old,” but now she’s safe with us and we absolutely adore her. Angelica is gentle, social, and friendly with everyone she meets. She enjoys spending time with our volunteers and has had no issues with handling. Her sweet nature and inquisitive personality make her the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, loving dog to share life with. Angelica deserves a cozy home where she can finally experience the care and affection she’s always deserved. If you’re ready to give her that second chance, apply today! She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also scheduled for a dental. She would need to meet any resident dogs.
