She’s a very gentle, sweet soul who can be a little shy at first, but underneath that soft personality is a silly, loving girl just waiting to blossom. She does wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs, especially calm and gentle dogs that help her feel safe and comfortable. Stacy loves to play, has a goofy side once she settles in, and is eager to learn and please her people. She’s both crate trained and housebroken, too! Stacy will thrive with a loving family that can continue helping her build confidence and show her how loved she truly is. Story
Meet Lola! Lola is a 1.5-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix with striking amber eyes, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. She’s wonderfully goofy — full of silly antics, playful energy, and that classic “husky talk” that makes her impossible not to smile at. She loves people, so expect plenty of affection, snuggles, and a sweet shadow who likes to be nearby. Lola has moderate to high energy and would do great in a home that can give her a bit of daily activity — whether that’s walks, playtime, or a canine buddy to help her burn off some zoomies. She’s friendly with kids and other dogs, though she’d do best in a home without cats, as her instincts may tempt her to chase. Lola is crate trained, progressing nicely with house training, and is already spayed and fully vaccinated. She’s ready to bring laughter, love, and lots of personality to her forever home.

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella was surrendered to a local vet veterinarian. The owner said she wasn't good with the new small dog in their home. The vet said Ella was there first. She was in boarding for two months when our vet asked if we could find her a foster and get her out of the clinic. She'll be 4 years old this summer and weighs 60-65 pounds and won't grow larger. Ella has done well with the dogs she lives with, including dogs at the dog park. She lives in a home with cats that are kept separate from the dogs. Foster Mom thinks she could chase a cat. Ella is house trained and crate trained. She enjoys leash walks around her Foster's neighborhood and hiking on the weekends. She's great on trails and she loves to cool off in a creek. If you have an active home life that includes your dog or you are an active person, Ella could be a good fit for you. She's not a couch potato, but she does know how to settle. She has not lived with young children that we are aware, so we are going to recommend school age kids or teenagers. Ella's Adoption includes Spay, rabies, other vaccines, microchip, dewormed, and receiving monthly parasite prevention.

Story
We got Jack from a reputable breeder in our area. He was born December 29th, 2017. He was born with a deformed right eye. We had it removed around 6 months after he was born, along with surgically repairing/replacing the lens in his left eye. Now he's one-eyed Jack! Jack has been a fantastic dog. My favorite dog I've ever owned. Before our twins were born, we would hike together, play in the river, go on long walks, and he'd even sleep in our bed occasionally. But after the twins were born (2022) it became harder and harder to give him the attention he deserves. He's well fed and has a large backyard to play in and prefers to be outside most of the time now, especially in cool or cold weather. But with our kids growing, and our available time with Jack shrinking, we need to surrender or rehome him. We've tried local organizations and adoption agencies but haven't had much luck. We'd love to connect with his new owners to ensure he goes to a loving home.

Story
❄️Lobo❄️ This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes. Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children. If this boy sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, please submit an application. Lobo can’t wait to meet his forever family and start his new life. If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel.
