Story
We got Jack from a reputable breeder in our area. He was born December 29th, 2017. He was born with a deformed right eye. We had it removed around 6 months after he was born, along with surgically repairing/replacing the lens in his left eye. Now he's one-eyed Jack! Jack has been a fantastic dog. My favorite dog I've ever owned. Before our twins were born, we would hike together, play in the river, go on long walks, and he'd even sleep in our bed occasionally. But after the twins were born (2022) it became harder and harder to give him the attention he deserves. He's well fed and has a large backyard to play in and prefers to be outside most of the time now, especially in cool or cold weather. But with our kids growing, and our available time with Jack shrinking, we need to surrender or rehome him. We've tried local organizations and adoption agencies but haven't had much luck. We'd love to connect with his new owners to ensure he goes to a loving home.

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella was surrendered to a local vet veterinarian. The owner said she wasn't good with the new small dog in their home. The vet said Ella was there first. She was in boarding for two months when our vet asked if we could find her a foster and get her out of the clinic. She'll be 4 years old this summer and weighs 60-65 pounds and won't grow larger. Ella has done well with the dogs she lives with, including dogs at the dog park. She lives in a home with cats that are kept separate from the dogs. Foster Mom thinks she could chase a cat. Ella is house trained and crate trained. She enjoys leash walks around her Foster's neighborhood and hiking on the weekends. She's great on trails and she loves to cool off in a creek. If you have an active home life that includes your dog or you are an active person, Ella could be a good fit for you. She's not a couch potato, but she does know how to settle. She has not lived with young children that we are aware, so we are going to recommend school age kids or teenagers. Ella's Adoption includes Spay, rabies, other vaccines, microchip, dewormed, and receiving monthly parasite prevention.

Story
If you're looking for a loving companion, Nola is your girl! She is a 3 yo mixed breed who has been a deeply loved member of our family since puppyhood. She is affectionate and gets along great with adults, children, & our other large dogs. Beyond being a sweet soul, she also is fully house-trained, smart, and learns quickly. Because Nola is such an amazing dog, our decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult. This decision is due to a recent incident involving one of our cats. After peacefully living with our cats for years, it appears Nola has developed a strong prey drive toward small animals. Recently, when another dog chased one of our cats, Nola reacted to the fast movement as prey rather than recognizing our cat as her housemate. We love her deeply, but we must prioritize the safety of our resident cats. Nola deserves a home where she can be loved for exactly who she is, a big-hearted, loyal companion who simply needs a small-animal-free environment to thrive.

Story
Zsa Zsa is a sweet, social dog who is always ready for whatever the day brings. She loves being active, staying mobile, and spending time outdoors especially when the weather is cool. Whether it is a walk around the neighborhood, a trip to the park, or simply exploring by your side, Zsa Zsa is happiest when she gets to be part of the action. She is loving, patient, and friendly with just about everyone she meets. Zsa Zsa has a social personality and enjoys making new friends, both people and pups. She also has a fun, talkative side, so do not be surprised if she has a few things to say when she is excited or wants your attention. If you are looking for a loyal companion who enjoys frequent walks, outdoor time, and being included in daily adventures, Zsa Zsa may be the perfect match.

Story
❄️Lobo❄️ This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes. Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children. If this boy sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, please submit an application. Lobo can’t wait to meet his forever family and start his new life. Story
Meet Gretel — a gentle-giant puppy who would be the perfect family dog! Gretel is a super people-oriented pup who adores all people — including children. Put her in a room full of dogs and one person, and she will go straight for the person, even if she’s never met them before. She loves to snuggle up real close, give kisses and then roll over for belly rubs.  Gretel and her six siblings were born at the end of January and found their way to a loving foster home at one week old. They were handled and loved by humans since they were tiny pups and that shows in their extra-loving dispositions today.  Gretel truly has those lazy big-dog vibes already and she’s not even four months old yet. Gretel weighed 29 pounds at 14 weeks old on May 7. That puts her on track to be a very large dog. She may be highly friendly, but she is also calm and gentle. She tires out easily and will find a cool spot to relax after a play session with her puppy friends. Take her on a nice walk and she will be ready for a nice long nap. She’s already ready to be a couch potato!  We’ve labeled Gretel as a Shepherd/Husky mix, but we know her breed results will be much more complex when they come back. Her mama, Sugar, is about the same size as her pups, so we know daddy had to have been huge.  Gretel is almost fully potty trained and working on crate training and walking on a leash. She’s very intelligent, treat motivated and eager to please her human.   Gretel and her brother Bavo are the last of a litter of seven. The other siblings are getting rave reviews in their new forever homes. They’ve done well in homes with other dogs and in homes with small children. We hope two more forever homes will come along soon for these very deserving and loving puppies.
