❄️Lobo❄️ This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes. Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children. If this boy sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, please submit an application. 🐾Meet Kai🐾 This beautiful gentleman is only 1 year old and has already found himself surrendered to a shelter and he doesn't quite understand what's going on. In a home one minute and then in a concrete cell the next is enough to confuse any pup! Kai tries so hard to please people but can be on a bit of the wild side. He has a lot of that "Husky" mentality in him and will do great with some structure and someone who can work with him on some training. 🐕‍ Kai loves to give "hugs" and we enjoy every minute of it! He's kinda the perfect size at 40lbs. Not too big, but big enough to steal your heart ❤️🐾 Stop on by and meet Kai during our open hours, no appointments are necessary. 🏡

Adoptable animals at VPAC are brought in through Homewood Animal Control them held for 10 days for an owner to claim. After that the animals are updated on vaccines and given fecal exams, and heartworm tests. The adoption fee also covers the cost of spaying/neutering services which we provide to the animal at 6 months of age or prior to their adoption.
