Story
Awarded best kisser, best smile, best friend! Juniper will keep you giggling as she plays fetch with herself. Silly girl! Tennis balls and toys are her jam so better keep a basket full. She also delights in burying herself in cozy blankets while napping on the bed. You'll like that Juniper is the perfect road trip navigator and adventure buddy. Ladies, she will gladly share her eyeliner tips! Crate and house trained, dog and child friendly, not a fan of cats. Est. DOB is 1/8/2022, about 50 lbs., vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Can't you just feel the warm weight of Juniper's head resting on your lap? You're gonna love her!

Story
Meet Percy! Percy is a 4 month old Husky/German Shepard/Poodle mix. He has 1 set of shots left and is microchipped. He is about 80% housetrained (still has tiny accidents here and there) and 100% cratetrained. He knows sit and stay and also is partially leashtrained. He is very friendly, has peacefully coexisted with our cat, and loves other dogs. He also loves kids and people in general. I know it says this pet is required to be neutered within 30 days of adoption, but our vet advised us to wait until Percy is around 1 year old. Percy has lots of energy (as all puppies do) so I want him to be in a home with a yard he can play in and people that will love and cherish him as much as I have. I would also really like it if I could get some updates on him. Unfortunately, I have been having many medical problems that make having Percy impossible, but if you do adopt Percy and it doesn't work out, please bring him back to me. He is the best dog I've ever had.

Story
🖤SHILOH🐾 Gentle, handsome, senior husky 🐕 After years of neglect, he’s safe in rescue & getting the care he deserves. We were told that he formally belonged to a neighbor who used to keep him on a chain and never let him in. But recently he had let him go and said he did not want him anymore. Probably because, Shiloh had a tumor growing on his underside and he did not want to be responsible. He has finished his antibiotics and steroids, and the tumor has been removed. The good news is …. It isn’t cancerous!!! And his heart and lungs, and all other x-rays were clear 🖤 True to his breed, he is vocal and full of adorable personality. He greets every human with a soft “awoooo” and lots of cuteness😍 Good with other dogs, but doesn’t need any in his forever home. He’s a bit of a loner. 🤣 In search of a yard to sunbathe in, snacks & pets from people that love him, and the opportunity to live out his golden years how he deserves 💕 If you’re interested in adopting a settled, senior boy, please consider welcoming Shiloh into your home! If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
Meet Mr Max 💙 This handsome blue-eyed boy is a three-year-old Husky. Mr Max was found as a stray by a wonderful family who made every attempt to find his owners. Unfortunately, he was not microchipped, was not neutered and had Heartworms. Max is completely healthy now and is finally ready for his forever family. 🎉 Max is an awesome dog and he definitely has a lot of Husky characteristics. He is very smart and very headstrong in true Husky fashion. Max loves to go for walks and is great on leash but he will let you know if you try to stop the walk before he is ready. He has been known to stage a complete sit-down and tell you all about it in his best Husky voice 😂. Max is an active, playful boy who also loves to snuggle in for belly rubs and pets. He makes quick friends with everyone he meets and is quite the charmer. 😍 Max would be great with older children and he is good with both dogs & cats. Max is house and crate trained. He likes to have his peeps with him and would not do well home alone for long periods of tine. 🐾 Max is an amazing pup who he needs someone with Husky experience that understands the breed. He is super smart and needs a confident owner who can keep him challenged and busy so he does not get into trouble 🎾🥏⚽️ Max also needs a secure fence and an active caretaker. He would love to be a hiking or running companion or maybe a fly ball or agility champion. 🏆 So if you know and love the breed and feel you would be the perfect family for Max then please fill out the application. Whoever is chosen as this guy’s forever family will be very lucky 🌈🍀🌈 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
I have an incredible personality, laid back and calm. However, I do suffer from separation anxiety which requires some understanding from my potential adopters. I love human attention and I have an awesome spirit, which makes me a great companion. I enjoy playing with toys, taking walks and cuddling with my humans. I am an active dog and would benefit from daily exercise and attention. I am looking for an adopter who is willing to work on this behavior with me. I am great with children and dogs. My ideal home would have someone who is around most of the time or can work from home, have a lot of love and patience and maybe even a brother or sister pup to keep my company.
