Story
Meet TIBU 4 yrs 55 lbs Tibu, a beautiful blue-eyed Husky who has endured a tough past but is now ready to find his forever home. Tibu was rescued from a family that kept him outside tied on a short leash, beaten and refused basic needs like food and water, Tibu was very afraid when finally rescued. Despite the neglect he faced, Tibu's spirit remains unbroken, and he is one of the sweetest and friendliest dogs you will ever meet thanks to the hard work and dedication of our two volunteers, Francisco and Yuri. Tibu loves everyone he meets and has a special way of making you feel loved with his gentle nature. He enjoys being vocal, but his cute howls are more endearing than loud and repetitive. One of his favorite things to do is snuggle up and give kisses, showing just how affectionate and grateful he is for any attention and love. On a leash, Tibu is pretty easygoing and prefers a leisurely pace over running. He's not particularly into toys but finds joy in simple pleasures like walks and cuddles. When greeting new friends, he might jump a little out of excitement, but his enthusiasm is always sweet and never overwhelming. Tibu is looking for a loving home where he can be cherished and cared for. If you're ready to open your heart to a dog who has so much love to give, Tibu is waiting to meet you.

Story
Meet Kuka, a curious, playful pup with a sweet spirit and a bright future! Kuka came into rescue with her sister Wolfy, and shes ready for a forever home that understands the joy (and learning curve!) of raising a young, energetic dog. She adores people, is good with older kids, and is making steady progress with housetraining. Kuka is the calmer of the two sisters when meeting new dogs. She can be a little overly enthusiastic at firstforgetting personal space due to her curiositybut with a slow, calm introduction, she settles in well. She's a great lead-in when introducing the sisters to new dogs; once Kuka is comfortable, Wolfy follows her example and relaxes, too. Kuka loves playing with her sister and enjoys other dogs once shes had time to adjust. Shes looking for an active home with a big yard, structure, and a family willing to invest time and energy into her continued training and growth. Ideally, shell have a doggy companionespecially if adopted separately from Wolfy. If you're ready for a playful, loyal companion with a heart full of love and curiosity, Kuka is ready to meet you. When it comes to meeting other dogs, she does best if Kuka is introduced first. Seeing her sister settle in helps Wolfy feel more confident and less overwhelmed. With proper, calm introductions (especially following Kukas lead), she enjoys playing and socializing with other dogs. Wolfy is looking for an active home with a big yard, a structured environment, and ideally another dog companionespecially if shes adopted separately from Kuka. Story
Tamara is a 9-year-old, 60 lb. sweetheart who’s calm, smart, and a little silly too! She’s housetrained, crate trained, knows “sit” and “place,” and gets along great with other dogs. While she’s shy at first, once she warms up, she’s super affectionate and loyal.Tamara prefers a quieter home with older kids—young children can make her nervous. She loves walks, relaxing in her dog bed, and showing off her goofy “doggie pose” on her back!If you’re looking for a well-behaved, loving companion, Tamara could be your perfect match. Story
Introducing Kiah, our beautiful tri-pod Husky/Shepherd(?) mix!  Kiah is 2 years old and weighs ONLY 40 POUNDS (she's really small for a husky/shep mix).  Kiah was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter and lives her life in joy and gratitude!   She is a very sweet tri-pod who is super affectionate, loves to snuggle and cannot get enough of your undivided attention but she's also good with just chillin around the house. She recently discovered the joy of a tennis ball although she's not 100% sure what to do with them.  Kiah has been professional trained, is crate trained, good on a leash but has not been exposed to cats or young children.  Kiah’s perfect forever home will be with an active family or individual.  She will do great as an only dog or with another well-adjusted fur sibling.  Kiah will thrive in an active environment where she will get plenty of walks and be able to run and play.  She is absolutely adorable to watch when she goes into Zoomie mode!  Kiah has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on her vaccinations and has been dewormed. If you are interested in meeting or adopting this sweet spunky girl, please go to www.lolr.org and fill out an adoption application. ##1845485##
