We are seeking an adult-only home with an experienced dog owner. He has shown resource guarding behaviors and has bitten our child on a few occasions without breaking the skin. Out of an abundance of care and responsibility, we are re-homing him before anything escalates further. He is a mellow, affectionate Husky who truly breaks the stereotype for his breed. He enjoys being active and is used to 2+ hours of exercise daily, but he also loves downtime and will happily soak up non-stop pets and attention. His favorite activities include hiking, camping, car rides, and outdoor adventures, and he settles nicely after his exercise needs are met. He has completed both basic and advanced training and works well for treats. With clear boundaries, and continued positive reinforcement training, he has the potential to do very well.
