Story
Meet Jax! Jax is an one year old super mutt with a small-to-medium build and the calm, gentle energy of a much older dog — with a goofy streak that makes him absolutely irresistible. He may have “the grace of a Great Dane,” but that just adds to his charm. Jax’s ideal day includes napping in a cozy spot, exploring the yard, stretching out in the grass, and happily chewing on his favorite toys. He’s an easygoing pup who loves simple pleasures and brings a peaceful presence to any home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister and his foster dog siblings, and he’s already got his basic training down. While he’s a champ at home life, he can be sensitive to loud noises, so a patient family that can offer reassurance during those moments would be perfect for him. Jax is gentle, sweet, and quietly funny — the kind of dog who becomes your steady companion without ever demanding too much. If you’re looking for a laid-back buddy with a big heart, Jax might be the one! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Adoption Fee: $250 – includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing/treatment if needed, deworming, flea prevention, and a registered microchip. To apply, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at: www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt This application doesn’t commit you to adoption—it helps us ensure the best match for both you and the pet. We verify vet history for current/previous pets, so please call your vet to give permission for us to contact them. For more info, email us at info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to be approved to meet me.April 27, 2026, 1:52 pm

Story
Meet Echo! Echo is an 1 year-old “super mutt” with a small-to-medium frame and a big, lovable personality. She’s the perfect mix of energetic playmate and loyal cuddle buddy. This smart girl learns quickly, behaves beautifully in the home, and has a natural protective streak that makes her feel like your very own little guardian. Echo adores playing with other dogs, chewing on her Kongs, crunching ice cubes, and—surprisingly—baths! After a good play session, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for snuggles. When meeting new people, Echo can be wary of sudden movements, so a gentle intro helps her feel safe. She’s also not a fan of stuffed animals, but give her a durable toy and she’s in heaven. Echo is ready for a family who will appreciate her sweet mix of energy, affection, and smarts. If you’re looking for a young dog who will love you fiercely and keep you laughing, Echo might be your perfect match! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Story
Pure is a beautiful Australian Shepherd husky mix.  She is a big girl with a big smile!  She loves laying in the morning sun and playing with squeaky toys (mainly to get that squeaker out!).  She is very loving with people, loves to cuddle, and get belly rubs.  Although a little anxious around other dogs, she does tolerate them.  Come see if Pure could be your next running companion!      April 27, 2026, 1:52 pm

Story
Hello! Me and my husband are needing to rehome our 6 year old husky Zues (2020). Zues is a Siberian husky. He has had all his puppy shots I know but I’m not sure of his older shots. He is a really sweet and chill boy who loves to lay about on the couch. He is very good with listening to his owners, interacting with kids and cats. He can be aggressive to other dogs he doesn’t know as growing up another dog in the home was aggressive towards him. Because of this he will need to be slowly introduced if there are other dogs in the home. He loves to go on hikes and car rides and does great walking on leash. We are looking to rehome as we both do not have the time to dedicate to his enrichment and activities as we tend to be out of the house 12-14 hours a day.

Story
Say hello to your new best buddy, Suzi! 🐾 Suzi is a 2-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart who is absolutely devoted to her people. Wherever you are, she’ll want to be right there with you—your loyal shadow and constant companion. She does best with medium to large breed dogs who are experienced and comfortable around other dogs, as Suzi is still learning appropriate social cues. With the right canine friends to help guide her, she continues to grow more confident every day. Suzi loves spending time with her family, whether it’s going for walks or curling up on the couch for some cozy snuggles. She’s crate trained, potty trained (with a dog door), leash trained, and very food motivated—making continued training a fun and rewarding experience. Suzi will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run and play. She should be in a home without cats or small animals, as she has a strong prey drive and will chase squirrels (and she means business!). If you’re looking for a soft, snuggly, and loyal companion to share your life with, Suzi just might be your perfect match. 💕 If you are interested in adopting Suzi, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. If you need to reach us regarding your application, the best way to contact us is through email.** We are located in Fayette County, GA and are a foster based rescue without a shelter building.

Story
He is so perfectly well mannered. He`s still a puppy, but old enough to mind his manners and listen just a little more. He`s still healing from an accident, so there is crate rest involved right now, but it doesn`t take away his joy one bit. He`s outgoing, loves to meet new people and can`t wait until he can bust out in play!
