Story
Hi, I’m Kacy —a 3-year-old husky mix with the most lovable personality. I’m a happy go lucky girl who loves everyone I meet. My personality is mixed with spunk and such fun, to keep you smiling all day long. I’m the kind of girl who knows how to turn every moment into an adventure and every frown into a laugh! What Makes Me Special: I’m funny and quirky —you’ll never be bored with me around! I’ve got a playful streak a mile wide and love to entertain my humans with my silly antics. Despite my goofy side, I’m also incredibly sweet and loyal—I love being part of the family. Whether it’s going for a hike, zooming around the yard, or snuggling up after a fun day, I’m all in. My Ideal Home: I’d thrive in a home that matches my love and zest for life! If you are ready for a best friend, I’m your girl. I wouldn’t mind being the star of the show as your only pet, but I could also do well with a playful, well-matched dog sibling. How You Can Help Kacy: Adopt Me! I’m ready to bring joy, love, and lots of laughs into your life. Share My Story. Help me find my perfect family by spreading the word—who wouldn’t want a fun-loving goofball like me? I’m here, waiting to make your life more colorful and exciting. Let’s make it official—email my rescue today to meet me! Kacy is outgoing and has the best personality. She loves everyone she meets and is a very happy go lucky girl. She’s smart and listens very well. She will sit, shake and lay down on command. She weighs around 50 lbs, is spayed, current on shots and housebroken! She doesn’t have the thick, fluffy coat of a purebred Husky so that’s a lot less dog hair to brush!! Kacy is wonderful as an inside dog, does great in the house and is also non-chewer. Ready to add a fun, loving and spunky girl, who loves walks, car rides and especially belly rubs to your life?&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 ***Kacy needs a fenced yard, preferably with a 6 ft wood fence which she currently has in her foster home. When you meet this girl you will fall in love, we promise!! For more info on Kacy, email caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com.November 18, 2025, 5:19 pm

Story
3 yr old white M Siberian Husky Notes from his foster: Chip is a very loving and intelligent. What an amazing dog! He has so much love to give, yet at the same time he has high energy! The husky traits are definitely there like talking to you, of which is moaning and somewhat of a soft howl. His new adopters should be aware of what those traits are and with any negative ones he is trainable. But it needs to be a constant reminder to him, he is very trainable as an intelligent pup could be! He loves laying on the couch next to his human. He'll either lay his head on you or lay with half of his body on you, which means he wants loving! The shelter estimates Chip to be 3 years, I challenge his age to be at least a year younger. I've looked at his teeth, evaluated his boundless energy, and when playing with other dogs, he acts like a pup. He does well with indoor cats, but he sometimes goes up and sniffs them like he's checking to make sure they are ok. If he is outside and one runs away he will chase it -supervision is a must It's not a good idea to have small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs or hamsters. Due to the huskey's high prey drive! Chip would be great in an active home that loves the outdoors and is busy with outdoors activities with him, like hiking or swimming. He loves water so much that he plays in his water bowl and likes to bite at the water coming out of the hose. Thankfully he's learning to do it outside in his water bowl only. The daily walks which he needs, he has been doing extremely well on not pulling, except at the beginning or if another owner/dog is walking by. He'll pull because he is very excited to meet them. I have him sit and calm him down until they have gone by. He loves car rides to a fault. If a neighbor gets in their car and starts it up he will continue running around the car until you call him off. But keep attention on him because he's known to run after the car, like let me in, you forgot me! Chip would do best in a cold weather environment. We haven't had time to take him to the snow but I can imagine him loving it! He loves to go out on the deck late at night. He lays with his nose in the air, wide awake enjoying the cold night. Then he comes in and either jumps on the bed partially laying on me. Or if I'm rolled over towards the middle of the bed, he'll lay on the bed along the edge. Always waiting to be petted. And yes, we do have other pets but once he moved in, he took over everything! If something is on the floor and becomes missing whether it's a dog item or an item of his human, Chip has most likely picked it up and moved it somewhere else. He does know how to share. He is not food aggressive, will let my labradoodle eat out of his bowl with him. And he shares all of the other pets toys he took over. When all the pets are resting or it is bedtime, his high energy is gone and he calms down to a resting state, sleeping too. He does need a home with another younger high energy dog to play with, my 2 15 year old Yorkies are not playmates. My 5 year oldlabradoodle adopted as apuppy during COVID did not learn how to play with dogs. She sure knows how to play with Chip whether she wants to or not. She always runs out of energy way before he does. Chip might even bless a family with another high energy dog. They will wear each other out. And eventhough my Yorkies don't play he has learned to leave them alone occasionally forgetting and dangles a toy over their head as they show their growling teeth, so he moves on. Chip is very friendly with people one of the only things he hasn't learned is not to jump up on the person. He's so excited to meet someone new, that to get their attention he thinks they needs to be eye to eye. Kids he has had little exposure. He will do well with kids just needs an adult there to watch over until he calms down with his excitement. He is also vey dog friendly unless the other dog turns aggressive on him he will respond back to correct Most of all he becomes very attached to his humans and loves them MOST of all !!! ##2559846##

Story
Hi, I am MoLena! I am named after the town I was found wondering through. Coco's attempted to locate my people, but they never came, but that's okay, I am ready for a new home. My new home will need to have a tall, sturdy fence, preferably one that I cannot see through. Due to my breed, I have a pretty intense prey drive and think cats and other small mammals are toys that I need to seek and destroy. So, no feline friends in the same household for me. I love to play with people and other dogs though and would make a great companion for someone. I am okay with kids, but I do prefer if they are a little older, so that they can play with me! I love to go for walks and will do little dances for you when you put my leash on!!! Please consider me, signed Mr. MoLena!

Story
Max Monterro came into our care after his original owners were deported&#44 leaving this sweet boy without the family who loved him. Now hes searching for a new home-one that will love him just as much as they did.

Max is a fluffy&#44 affectionate cuddle-bug with medium energy and a heart full of love. He adores treats and will happily bury his face in your apron or pockets to look for more. On walks&#44 he does his own little thing-sometimes walking in small circles-but overall hes easy to handle as long as youre aware it wont be your typical stroll.

Although Max has not been officially dog tested&#44 he was polite when seeing another dog through the fence&#44 offering a quick sniff before choosing to continue on his way. More than anything&#44 Max is a gentle&#44 wonderful boy who wants a soft place to land and a family to call his own.

If youre looking for a sweet&#44 loving companion with endless cuddles to give&#44 Max Monterro is ready to meet you.
