Story
I urgently need help finding placement or rehoming assistance for my Alaskan Malamute, Skylar, 65 pounds, super smart, very playful, affectionate, energetic, and loves attention, hugs, and cuddling. She is not aggressive toward people. She has been around cats, another dog, and even a bunny in my home. She does well with other pets once she is introduced slowly and properly one at a time. She just needs patience during introductions because of her size and energy level. In early May I received a citation after a neighbor alleged that Skylar attacked chickens in the community after she got loose. When Newton County Animal Control came to my home, there was no physical evidence showing she had attacked anything. She had no blood, feathers, or injuries on her, only red dirt from running around outside after escaping. She is known to be a runner, and because I do not have a fenced yard and I fear someone will hurt her if she keeps breaking free.

Story
Meet Winter: A Vibrant 2-Year-Old Husky Mix Ready for Adventure! Winter is an intelligent, highly affectionate, and energetic companion looking for an active forever home. True to her heritage, she has a joyful, expressive personality and thrives when she is on the move—making her the perfect partner for running, hiking, or playing in a secure yard. Why She is Available: Her owner recently transitioned to a demanding, full-time career. Because these new hours would require Winter to be crated for long periods during the day, we are proactively seeking a home that matches her social and athletic needs. She deserves an environment where she can run and thrive, rather than wait in a crate. Ideal Match: An active individual, couple, or family who can provide daily physical exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard or a work-from-home schedule is highly preferred. Serious inquiries only. Please message to arrange a meet-and-greet.

Story
Kaizen is a 4yr old sweet, loving and gentle dog. He’s a little talkative when he’s in the mood, loves to play especially hide and seek, he rarely barks unless he feels threatened, he’s home and crate trained, he loves watching dog movies and relaxing, even though he’s a Siberian husky he likes to sun bathe, he’s enjoys dried foods and cooked foods. My husband has been having sinus issues and after seeing an allergist found out he’s allergic to pet dander so unfortunately we have to rehome our sweet boy. He’s been in daycare and the parks lot so he’s used to playing with other dogs his size, he’s never been aggressive nor has ever bitten anyone. He’ll come with an extra large crate, bed, , grooming kit, toys, leash, collar, harness, heart worm, flea medicine and what’s left of his dried food.

Applicant’s must have a fenced in yard to be considered as Huskies are known escape artist, though she hasn’t tried thankfully. She is very good on a leash and is amazing on car rides.

Story
Meet Jax! Jax is an one year old super mutt with a small-to-medium build and the calm, gentle energy of a much older dog — with a goofy streak that makes him absolutely irresistible. He may have “the grace of a Great Dane,” but that just adds to his charm. Jax’s ideal day includes napping in a cozy spot, exploring the yard, stretching out in the grass, and happily chewing on his favorite toys. He’s an easygoing pup who loves simple pleasures and brings a peaceful presence to any home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister and his foster dog siblings, and he’s already got his basic training down. While he’s a champ at home life, he can be sensitive to loud noises, so a patient family that can offer reassurance during those moments would be perfect for him. Jax is gentle, sweet, and quietly funny — the kind of dog who becomes your steady companion without ever demanding too much. If you’re looking for a laid-back buddy with a big heart, Jax might be the one! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Adoption Fee: $250 – includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing/treatment if needed, deworming, flea prevention, and a registered microchip. Story
Meet Echo! Echo is an 1 year-old “super mutt” with a small-to-medium frame and a big, lovable personality. She’s the perfect mix of energetic playmate and loyal cuddle buddy. This smart girl learns quickly, behaves beautifully in the home, and has a natural protective streak that makes her feel like your very own little guardian. Echo adores playing with other dogs, chewing on her Kongs, crunching ice cubes, and—surprisingly—baths! After a good play session, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for snuggles. When meeting new people, Echo can be wary of sudden movements, so a gentle intro helps her feel safe. She’s also not a fan of stuffed animals, but give her a durable toy and she’s in heaven. Echo is ready for a family who will appreciate her sweet mix of energy, affection, and smarts. If you’re looking for a young dog who will love you fiercely and keep you laughing, Echo might be your perfect match! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions).
