This guy is ~3 yrs old, 70 lbs, All vetted C is a typical German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix with the smarts and eager to please GSD attributes combined with the Husky 'class clown' personality. He is very people oriented, friendly, eager to please, knows most of his basic commands, walks OK on leash and loves attention. He is quite the 'talker' and will sass you back whenever things are not being done to his satisfaction - LOL. Like most Huskies, he will escape given the opportunity and needs plenty of exercise. C is playful with most other (medium to large) dogs. Would also be happy as only pet. Adoption Fees Adoption fees help cover expenses for all the dogs while in the rescue program including the vet check, microchip, vaccines, heartworm testing, fecal check, broken bones, illness, spay/neuter plus other necessary veterinary care with medications and training to get the dog ready for adoption. Story

Mochi is a 3 year old female who loves attention, she can never have too many butt scratches. As she wants to be an alpha, she is very slow at warming up to other dogs, but once she warms up to them, she loves to play and wrestle. Mochi favorite thing to do is chew on her dog bone and tear apart her stuffed animals; it brings her so much joy. She also enjoys playing fetch with the bounciest tennis ball she can find. Although Mochi is great with kids, no children under the age of five years old, as she has had no experience with children younger than that. Mochi is fully trained; her commands are sit, lay down, paw, other paw, back up, and up up. Use hands gestures, as it gives her a better understanding of what you are saying. Once she warms up to you, she is off leash-trained, so if you say, Mochi, stay in sight, she will listen. Sometimes she can be stubborn, so you may have to repeat commands. Mochi is a wonderful dog and needs a family who can love and support her.

Rose is a very good baby she loves to run and play like an husky does. She need’s somewhere with space for her to go out and play, she is not very good with other dogs but we had another dog she was raised with that she got along with. She is very protective of her owners and doesn’t like strangers. She is good with older kids I have a 10 year old she loves to cuddle with, we have not seen how she reacts to younger kids. We moved to a smaller place an would love her to go to a loving new home and not animal control.

He’s been in his foster home about two months now and gained a few needed pounds. He is housebroken and crate trained, very respectful of the foster’s boisterous Rottweilers, completely ignores the cats, and is a laid back, earnest, and polite gentleman. He would prefer to always be with his person, and will follow you (quietly and politely) from room to room, relaxing once you sit down and settle in. He sleeps like the dead, with a perfect (and yet somehow, still polite) snore to let you know he has reached ultimate relaxation. His ideal home would have someone home most of the time for him to watch over, and a big plush bed for his naps.All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.May 5, 2024, 9:34 pm
