Have you ever seen such a HANDSOME boy ??!! Meet STORM. He is 18 months old; full of personality; SO SMART; playful and very loving ❤ Storm is up to date on his vaccines and rabies; and on monthly preventative for fleas/ticks and heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped soon. Storm needs a family who is experienced with huskies and loves this breed. A physically fenced in yard would be beneficial for Storm to run and play in safely. He is still learning to walk on a leash. He is a true companion; expressive with his face and eyes; is very curious about everything; talkative at times; and eager to please. Due to his prey drive, a home with no small dogs and no cats is a must. Storm will probably excel as the only dog in the home, however with the right personality match, he gets along with other dogs his size. If you are interested in Storm please go to our website: wwwabetterlifeanimalrescue.com fill out our adoption application and send. We also require a home visit. We are on a mission to find Storm an amazing home.💕

Story
Looking for a goofy, affectionate, and outdoorsy pup to join you on your adventures? Say hello to Hank, a 6-month-old Husky mix with a heart as big as his zoomies! Hank is the perfect mix of sweet and spunky. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and does well on a leash—though he occasionally gets the “zoomies” and likes to nibble on it when he’s excited. With an energy level of 8/10, Hank thrives on daily exercise and outdoor play. After a long walk or some time exploring, he's happy to crash for a cozy nap (often belly up with paws in the air—his signature move!). This friendly boy absolutely lives for time outside, so a fenced-in yard is preferred, though not required as long as he gets adequate leashed exercise. Apartments just won’t cut it for this adventure-loving pup! He’s a regular on the Swamp Rabbit Trail where he loves greeting new friends, squirrel-watching, and chewing on his favorite walking-stick finds. Hank loves other dogs and plays best with those his size or bigger—he’s a bit too rambunctious for smaller pups. He’s probably not a good fit for homes with cats, as he’s shown a strong prey drive. While Hank is generally easy-going and gentle (he takes treats like a gentleman!), he’s shown some mild food guarding around other dogs, so he should be fed separately for now. It’s manageable and hasn’t been an issue with humans. Health-wise, he’s up to date on his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and started on monthly preventions (he's too young to contract heartworms right now, so we're getting a head start on preventative measures).  Hank would be a great match for an active first-time dog owner who’s ready for the joys (and occasional chaos!) of a big-hearted Husky mix puppy. If you love long walks, muddy creek adventures, and doggie cuddles after a fun day outside, Hank might just be your perfect match. Adoption Application: bit.ly/JLRadopt  ************************Hank is located in a foster home. We are happy to coordinate a meet & greet for pre-approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at bit.ly/JLRadopt  Adoption process:Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved. From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption. Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption. ##2397647##
