Everest is a beautiful female Siberian Husky with a heart as big as the mountains she’s named after. This sweet little girl absolutely lives for belly rubs — seriously, if you start, be prepared to commit! She’ll happily roll over and soak up every bit of love you’re willing to give. Everest is gentle, affectionate, and full of curiosity. She’s always investigating her toys like they hold the secrets of the universe, happily entertaining herself before coming back for snuggles. Her playful spirit paired with her loving nature makes her the perfect mix of fun and cuddly. Whether you’re looking for a walking buddy, a couch companion, or a loyal best friend, Everest is ready to climb right into your heart. She would make a wonderful addition to a family ready to give her the love (and belly rubs!) she deserves. Come meet Everest — your home might just be her forever summit. Story
This beautiful female Siberian Husky is as sweet as her name suggests. Destiny absolutely adores being in your arms — if there’s a lap nearby, she believes it was made just for her. She melts into cuddles and will happily stay snuggled up as long as you’ll hold her. When she’s not soaking up affection, Destiny loves to play with her toys, tossing them around and showing off her playful side. She has that perfect balance of fun and cozy — ready for a little playtime followed by a well-earned nap in her bed, all wrapped up in her favorite blanket. Destiny isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone to hold her close, share quiet moments, and give her all the love she’s so eager to return. If you’re ready for a loyal, snuggly companion, Destiny is ready to fulfill her name and become your forever girl. We are currently accepting applications for this litter. When they are ready for adoption, we will carefully review all submitted applications and select the first qualified home that best matches each puppy’s personality and needs. Story
Meet Whiskey! Whiskey is about 2.5 years old and a little over 50 pounds. Whiskey is a very sweet boy but does have a higher energy level. Due to his higher energy level that is common with husky's, we believe he'll do better in a home with a large fenced in yard. The most notable thing about Whiskey is that he gets very anxious with thunderstorms. Whiskey is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, microchipped and ready to go to his forever home! If you have any questions or would like to meet Whiskey, please call us at (828)980-0016 or you can email us at rutherfordanimalcontrol@heartofthefoothills.org.

Story
Sage is a 1 year old husky mix. I brought her in as a stray. She has 1 brown eye and half a blue eye. She is a very sweet dog and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and is great with kids! She has more energy than we can give her space to run off. She has to stay in her crate most of the day while we work and would prefer a family with a fenced in back yard to let her run and play. She is up to date on shots, she is not spayed but will do that at request if needed. She is house trained and crate trained. She will make someone a great companion!
