Story
We got Zola back in 2019. She is 7 years old. Great dog. Very friendly with people and other dogs. She is actually on the quiet side for being a husky. She is house trained. Not destructive at all. She loves sticks. And playing tug of war. And playing catch! She is getting to the age where she likes to sleep. Not as hyper as she once was. Having a husky you will be doing a lot of grooming.

Story
ATTENTION HUSKY LOVERS! We are pleased to introduce our most talkative furry fuzzy girl, Nellie! Nellie is a 1 1/2 year old (DOB 10/30/24) female Siberian Husky who has pretty much every single recognizable trait of a husky! If you know you know! She weighs in at approximately 38 pounds, and she is STUNNING! Nellie is an active, brilliant, vocally gifted, inventive, gorgeous young girl. She has been in the same home since puppyhood, but when they found out they had to make a long distance move, they realized that she needed a soft place to land before they left, and brought her to us. Nellie is used to living in the home and definitely has learned house manners in her life. Usually she was left free in the home while everyone was gone, and had no issues other than randomly here and there. She is house-trained, knows some basic commands like sit, down, and leave it, and really only has one bad habit...taking herself off on an adventure and not letting anyone know where she has gone...it`s a husky thing through and through, but one that definitely will need management. We will require a secure fenced in yard for this girlie. Nellie has lived with kids and has done fine with them - but they were a little older, so it is preferred that she only go to a home with kids 10 and up. She is friendly to everyone she meets - a guard dog is something that she is, emphatically, NOT. She will pull on the leash initially, but if you wait her out for a moment, she settles down for a pleasant walk. She hates thunder (also pretty typical in nordic breeds), and she sees cats as something to be chased and possibly eaten. A feline free home is a must. She loves toys of all shapes and sizes, but we have found her favorite to be stuffed ones she can toss in the air and catch on the way down. She loves her people and wants to be included in everything they do - so a little less aloof than many of her breed. We believe that at some point her coat was shaved and grew back in an interesting color/texture pattern on her lower back. It gives her a very interesting look, no question. Like any Sibe, Nellie sheds. She absolutely will blow her undercoat a minimum of twice a year and will need regular brushing to keep it under control and keep her coat and skin healthy. Having a husky means sharing space with the hair, it`s just a fact! Many people choose to take their huskies to a groomer who can deshed far better than any of us can at home - and it DOES m

Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-20 Adoption Fee: $310 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. What a loyal girl. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs.

Story
Zoe is my 11 year-old Shepherd husky lab mix. I love her to death, but she has now developed anxiety with my other dogs and has a hard time sleeping through the night! If she sleeps with you in bed, she does great! She is house broke, but since her anxiety is increased, she has been randomly peeing in the house. She is up-to-date on all of her shots and is spayed so if you’re interested, please send me a text or an email. I personally think she would be great with no other dogs.

Story
Snowy is a fun-loving excitable, anxious Siberian husky who gets along with most other dogs. A good home for him would be an active household, he is high energy but good with kids. He does on long car trips, up to cross country, he just takes some time to settle in. Going with adopting him will be a harness, a leash, his food bowls , his industrial kennel and some of his favorite toys. I just want him in a good home which I can no longer provide. Please text if interested.

Story
I took in Serena from a home where she was kenneled for 16+ hours a day. She’s around 2. She has all this energy and was getting nothing. I convinced the owners to surrender her to me to get her spayed and find her a better life. She is quite springy and can jump atleast a 4ft fence. Haven’t experienced higher yet but as long as she has room to run and doesn’t see her human on the other side of a fence she doesn’t seem interested in escaping. She is decently e-collar trained. She loves to wrestle and play with other dogs, and she is absolutely amazing with kids. She is crate trained and usually gets a frozen lick toy to occupy her when putting her in a crate for work days. She loves to cuddle. She doesn’t shed much surprisingly being a husky mix. She is vocal only sometimes but nothing compared to purebred huskies. She is an angel for her bath and nail trims. She isn’t afraid to grab goodies from the counter so she needs watched at times lol. She would thrive with an active family!! ♡
