Husky puppies and dogs in Streetsboro, Ohio

Hello this is Balto named after the movie. He is a very good boy he just needs room to run and grow. Unfortunately due to personal reasons we cannot take care of him anymore. He comes with a collar, leash, dog bowl and extra large cage. Please contact me if interested. Thank you.

Kovu was pulled from Cleveland Animal Care & Control. He kept coming in as a stray and this time no one claimed him as their own. He is currently with an amazing Husky savvy foster who is giving him the love he needs, but he would absolutely love to find that perfect place to call his own! Kovu is still new to the rescue, so we are learning more about him each day! He does great with other pups and is seeming to be a gentle giant! He is underweight so his foster is currently working on getting him some yummy food to be at a good weight! His target weight is 65 lbs. He does have issues with entropion, so we are working on getting a consultation with an ophthalmologist here soon! He is heartworm negative, but is lyme positive. We are doing a round of Doxycycline for that. Could you be this cutie pie's forever home?

Meet Wheaties, a beautiful 1½-year-old Husky mix with a sweet personality that shines once she gets to know you! She can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but with a little patience and time, she warms up into an oh-so-sweet and loving companion. Wheaties would do best in a home with older children and no cats. She absolutely loves playing with other like-sized dogs and has a blast joining her friends in our daily playgroup. If you’re looking for a playful, gentle girl who just needs a little time to let her personality bloom, Wheaties may be your perfect match!

Meet Mighty, a handsome 4-year-old black-and-white Husky weighing 51 pounds, with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and enough energy to keep you on your toes. This sweet, affectionate boy is looking for a family to call his own and a home where he can be included in all the fun. Mighty came to us as an owner surrender when his previous family's work schedule meant he was spending much of his day alone. But Mighty isn't meant to be a homebody waiting for someone to come through the door. He wants to be where the action is. Whether you're heading out for a walk, hitting the hiking trails, or simply enjoying time together, Mighty would love nothing more than to be your four-legged sidekick. When it comes to affection, this boy gets an A+. Mighty is a wonderful cuddler who loves attention, enjoys snuggling, and has a friendly, easygoing side. Of course, he's also a Husky, so he has plenty to say! If you enjoy a dog with a little personality and a lot of conversation, Mighty might just be your guy. Mighty is an active boy who absolutely LOVES the great outdoors. Long walks? Count him in! Hiking adventures? He's ready! He has a high energy level and would happily keep exploring all day long. He does pull quite strongly on leash, however, and will need continued training to polish his leash manners. And fair warning: if something small and furry decides to scurry past him, Mighty may suddenly decide it's time for a race. Because he's such a strong active boy, a secure fenced-in yard is a must so he can safely stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor playtime. An adopter familiar with the Husky handbook (also known as selective listening, dramatic opinions, and endless energy) is preferred. The good news is that Mighty already knows how to "sit" and "give paw," so he's got a few tricks up his sleeve. He's a smart boy who would benefit from continued training, positive reinforcement, and a family willing to help him be the best dog he can be. When it's time to settle down, Mighty knows how to relax, too. He's crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He would do best in a home with older children, as he can be protective of his food and may growl if approached while eating. His compatibility with other dogs and children is currently unknown, so proper introductions and supervision will be important. NO CATS for this guy! Mighty is available for adoption. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and negative for heartworm disease. Are you ready for a handsome, affectionate, slightly chatty, adventure-loving Husky who will keep you moving, make you laugh, and happily soak up all the love you have to give? If Mighty sounds like the missing piece of your family, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and complete a dog adoption application online. His adoption fee is ______. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs.

Freddy is a 3 year-old male Husky mix. Freddy came in with his brother Draco, but he is not good with other animals and will need to be the only animal in his home. He loves his toys, and his playful spirit will keep you entertained for hours! Freddy walks very well on a leash, and even better on a harness! He likes going on walks, but he will need to stop you a couple times because petting him is more important than anything else. Freddy is a very simple dog who knows what he wants in life, spray cheese, blankets, and a loving home. He isn't very photogenic, but we swear he is even cuter in person. If you don't believe us come check him out yourself! Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP, Bordetella , microchipped, a 1 year rabies vaccine, heartworm checked, 40X, and a current 1 year dog license. If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:00PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.
