Helene means “shining light”. Helene, as adult husky/shepherd mix exemplifies this with humor & intelligence shining in her 2 different colored eyes. Helene loves to play with toys and other dogs. Her favorite toy, by far is a tennis ball. One might accurately call her obsessed . She will happily chase tennis balls, chew on them, “almost” bring them back to you, then dance away. Even split, goopy tennis balls are treasured until confiscated by her foster mom & thrown away. She will lick & nuzzle with stationary cats, but will chase them if they run. She is a wonderful cuddler, smiles a lot, & is oh, so happy. The more comfortable she is in her home, the more frequently the husky “talk” comes out! - Especially if it is smack talk disagreeing with not getting an additional treat. Helene would be great as a solo dog or as a companion dog to an existing “pack.” Can she be part of your family? Princess is kind of a misleading name for me.... Cause I am a QUEEN!! I love all my "subjects" four legged and two legged :) i came from the pound, where I was kind of like a Cinderella princess..... I looked very "ruff".... my eyes were dull and scared and my fur was not white or floofy, like it is now! And boy was I SKINNY :( But NOT ANYMORE!! I am now the Princess I was meant to be! I have a glowing white floofy coat, I have the confidence and love to give out and receive... AND I am ready for you and your family to love FuREVER!! Look at this stunning girl, Marshmallow! Marshmallow is a beautiful puppy who is already doing great with crate and potty training. She loves playing with other dogs of all sizes and has been around cats and kids. Like many puppies, Marshmallow is still learning her manners. She can be a little bossy with other dogs and sometimes forgets personal space, so she may do best with a passive, patient, or understanding dog friend who can help her continue learning boundaries. Like many puppies, Marshmallow also has some mouthy puppy energy and is still learning that toys are the best place for playful nibbles. Give her a squeaky toy and she'll happily entertain herself while bringing plenty of giggles to all around her. Marshmallow is also a vocal girl — she’ll let you know when she needs a potty break or when she simply feels like singing! She can be timid with people at first, but she is learning that humans can be kind and safe. With patience, love, and consistency, we believe Marshmallow will blossom into a happy, snuggly companion who loves everyone she meets. Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.

Flair is a cool name, eh?? It is a particular "bright light" kind of name ;) I am a bright light in the land of rescues.... I was found with my friend, Cisco, looking for the light of a welcoming home... and we FOUND the rescue :) I am petite flower, of less than 40# and full grown. I have lots of fun with my doggy friends and I love all the rescue peeps who are caring for me until I get my own home! I have beautiful markings and coloring... my creamy white, with blonde highlights, silver and black all together gives me a very unique look and I will stop people in their tracks to tell you how gorgeous i am!!
