Story
Sakura is about 3 years old. We’ve had her since a puppy and knew the parents. She is a dog who loves to play and loves to chase squirrels and any other wild life. She plays well with cats, kids and dogs. Sakura would benefit from a home with a backyard or at least a couple good walks a day. She gets excited when it’s time to walk or eat. She is house trained and usually doesn’t have accidents. She hasn’t been formally trained but she does follow simple commands. She would be a great addition to any family. She loves living with another dog and gets along with our three cats very well.

Story
I'm 9 years old. I'm definitely an indoor dog but I have a lot of energy so I need frequent walks I love to sleep on the bed and couch. I'm not destructive at all. I love a window seat so I can watch everything outside. I love to play ball but most of the time I don't bring it back. I'm trained but I'm not an off leash dog. I have allergies to chicken. I'm good with submissive dogs but I'm an alpha so not always towards other alpha dogs. With a slow introduction and patience I can be good with dogs, cats and children. I'm protective. Vehicles in the rain scare me sometimes so I bark and lunge. I'm a great dog and I look forward to meeting you Let's have fun

Story
Meet Sherlock 🐺 Sherlock is a 3-year-old, 56 lb. Husky–Alaskan Malamute mix, and truly one of the most incredible dogs we’ve had at the sanctuary. He’s as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside—but his journey hasn’t been easy. Sherlock has been through a lot, and he’s just beginning to learn what it means to feel safe and trust again. Because of that, he can be a bit skittish with new people. But once you earn his trust, you’ll have a loyal companion who never wants to leave your side. His bond is deep, and it’s something really special. Sherlock absolutely loves other dogs and could play all day long. He thrives with medium to large-sized dogs, especially ones who can match his energy and playful spirit. He wouldn’t be a good fit for cats or small animals—not out of aggression, but because his play style is just a bit too enthusiastic. Like many northern breeds, Sherlock is very vocal. He has a beautiful howl and isn’t shy about using it—especially when he wants your attention. (Honestly, he’s just a great communicator.) Because of this, apartment living likely isn’t the best fit for him. Sherlock would do best in a quieter home with no children under 11, where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. With patience, love, and understanding, he’s going to absolutely flourish. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far he’s come. Now he’s ready for his next chapter—his forever home. His adoption fee is $295 and he's neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply today to meet Sherlock 🤍

Story
Finley has entered the chat, and yes, the energy just went up about 100 percent! I’m a 2 year old, 73 lb. Husky mix, which basically means I run on good vibes, big feelings, and a deep love for adventure. I’m a super sweet guy who absolutely loves people. If you’ve got hands, I’ve got a plan for them, and that plan is nonstop pets. Being close to my people is kind of my favorite thing ever. I’m an active boy who’s always ready to go. Walks, hikes, exploring, running like the wind for no reason at all, I’m in. If you’re someone who enjoys getting outside and actually doing things, I will be your most excited partner every single time. I do great with other dogs and would happily hang out with a canine sibling. I’ve also lived with cats and got along great with them. I’d do best with kids 7 and up who understand that even a fun-loving guy like me needs space sometimes. Give me that respect, and I’ll give you all the love, laughs, and loyalty I’ve got. Now, I do come with a special feature. I can jump fences. Not just a little hop, I’m talking impressive, Olympic-level confidence. So I’ll need a home with a very tall, secure fence or a family that keeps a close eye on me outside. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, adventure-loving dog who will keep life exciting and your heart very full, I’m Finley, and I’m ready to be your new best friend! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
Meet Mambo! You know how a good mambo isn’t rushed, it’s all about timing, rhythm, and feeling things out first? That’s me. I’m not the guy who runs straight onto the dance floor. I’m the one watching from the side, getting the vibe, and then once I’m ready, I’ve got some pretty great moves! I’m a 5.5 year old husky mix with a soft heart and a thoughtful approach to life. New people can make me a little nervous at first, so I like to take my time getting to know you. But if you’re patient with me and let me come around on my own terms, I turn into a very sweet, affectionate guy who loves being close to his people. I’m talking cuddles, lounging, and just enjoying the comfort of being together. With other dogs, I’m kind of a “read the room” type. If another dog comes in calm and respectful, I’m happy to engage and hang out. If they come in hot and reactive, I’m going to politely decline that interaction. Energy matters to me. My best friend here is Ace, and we’ve got our own solid little duo going on. As for cats, well, I did spend some time in a foster home with bunnies, and let’s just say I was a little too interested in them. Because of that, a no-cat home is probably the best choice for me. For kids, I’d do best in a home with teens 15 and older who understand that I need space at first and can respect my boundaries while I get comfortable. I’m not difficult, I just appreciate people who let me settle in at my own pace. What you’ll find with me is a dog who may take a little time in the beginning but gives you something really special once that trust is there. I’m gentle, loyal, and deeply connected to my people, and I truly enjoy just being by your side. If you’re willing to go at my pace and let me open up, I’ll be right there with you, ready to share all the quiet moments and adventures life has to offer! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet Mambo today!

Story
My name is Rooooben (aka Ruben)! I'm a happy and howly Husky mix looking for a home for my golden years. I am an older boy but I still have a ton of life and LOVE in me. I am great with people of all ages and dogs of all sizes. I enjoy walks, romps around the yard and tug/fetch with my humans. I don't last long, due to my age, but that just means we can follow it up with snuggles! Snuggles, pets, and scratches are my favorite. I will give low awoooo's to tell you I'm ready to shower you with love (and LOTS of hair). While Huskies can be a challenging breed, I'm far past the puppy phase and am very well trained. I walk well on a leash, ride well in the car, and never go potty in the house. Unlike most Huskies, my crate is my happy place. Yep, I'm crate trained too! I'm a near perfect pup, ready and waiting for yoooouuuu! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
