Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Solitaire is a little shy at first, but doesn’t take long to warm up to people. She came in with a submissive dog, and would probably do fine living with one that is also submissive. She would most likely chase a cat if taught not to. Although she pulls somewhat on the leash, she knows the sit command. Treat motivated and is very gentle when taking them from your hand. Solitaire is a bit of a fraidy girl and can get spooked and flail around on walks, but with reassurance from her person, she does just fine. Not a fan of anything going over her head, but can be cuddly and playful. Enjoys playing tug-of-war and will get a case of the zoomies when outside. Best in a home with children that can respect her boundaries; she is not a fan of being hugged. Weighs 49 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
We acquired Axel through a friend that wasn’t expecting puppies. He was born in 2020 and is very sweet. He gets along with kids and other pets. We did not know we had allergies to his fur until recently. Myself and our children are allergic and the fur is causing breathing issues for us. Owner must have a fenced yard and plenty of space for him to run around. He is an escape artist and will run if a door or gate is left open. He does not listen when he runs out. Regular collars do not work on axel. He will escape from those. I do suggest a holster or a training chain, and telling him to go to the kennel when you need to open an outside door. Axel is crate and house trained. We will provide a crate for him. he knows the command of sit, move, up up (jumps up to be petted), down, eat, and treat. He will howl with you as well if you let him. We are hoping to find him a loving home that can love him forever as much as I will.

Synonyms for Diva: starlet, leading lady, prima Donna, Keyana. Keyana may not have had the best start in life but this 2 year old Husky mix gal is looking for the best rest of her life. If you are looking for your favorite gal pal to trail run or run the Netflix, this is your gal. Imagine BFF vibes but also a little back talk to keep you in your place. Keyana needs firm boundaries but not a firm hand. She talks back and may redirect when scooted the wrong way, though she is a people pleaser and just wants affirmation. If you want to go to the bathroom by yourself this definitely is not your dog. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, unknown on cats. She truly just wants to be included but is definitely still working on her manners. Keyana is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She is also house and crate trained. Come on down and meet this leading lady!Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Keyana's adoption fee is $200. Story
Maverick is a 2yr old husky mix who weighs about 45 lbs (He even had his DNA done!). His favorite things are squeaky toys, bones, treats, and playing with his doggie friends. He really likes to chase things, so a home with cats might not be a great fit. Maverick loves kids and would do well in a home with older, dog-savvy kids....he is still young and may accidentally knock a little one over when he is playing. He uses the dog door at his foster-mom's house and is house and kennel trained. Maverick loves to be with you wherever you go and is he always up for adventure! Mav will do well in training classes and would be great at agility….he is very food motivated and eager to learn. This little guy is an amazing dog and will be the best buddy you could ever have!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal.
