Story
Lobo is a 6 year old Husky Malamute mix. He is very sweet and loving. He is also playful and full on energy. Prior to our family taking him in, our son and girlfriend would bring him for visits along with her other dogs. Lobo belonged to her brother and girlfriend who were needing to rehome him as they were living in an apartment and having their first baby. As you can imagine apartment life is not ideal for this breed. My son wanted to take him in and we’d all fallen in love with him so we agreed under the conditions that everyone would need to help out to support his needs since we both work 2 jobs and have busy schedules. He is great with other dogs and with our grandkids. His personality has really been coming to life since being in our home. He is very loved and spoiled, but we are struggling to give him the time and attention he needs and our son is moving out of state. Lobo loves to snuggle and be wherever you are. His favorite things are walks, dog park and car rides.

Story
Rylee is a beautiful purebred Alaskan Husky with a big heart and an adventurous spirit. She’s spayed, crate-trained, and wonderful with people. She knows some tricks, enjoys learning, and absolutely thrives outdoors—hikes, yard time, and cool weather are where she shines. Rylee needs to be the only pet in the home and is not dog-friendly. She has been around our cats and may do okay with the right feline companion, but only with very slow, careful introductions. She has mild incontinence and takes a daily medication for it. The medication works very well, and she does great on it—it’s simply part of her normal routine. We love Rylee deeply and want to find her a stable, committed home where she can truly thrive. Ideally, she would do best with someone who has outdoor space and experience with active breeds.

Story
Athena is a beautiful husky girl with energy to spare and a heart full of fun. This active pup loves nothing more than stretching her legs on a good run, so she would be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an adventurous lifestyle. Whether it’s jogging, hiking, or exploring the outdoors, Athena is always ready to go! When playtime starts, Athena’s excitement shines through. She can get a little bouncy while playing, so she would do best in a home with older children who can handle her enthusiastic style. After she’s burned off some energy, Athena is happy to relax and enjoy being near her people. Athena is also crate trained, which helps make her transition into a new home nice and smooth. She’s smart, spirited, and eager to be part of a family who will keep her active and engaged. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion to join you on your next adventure, Athena might just be your perfect match!

Lizbeth 801-882-0434Very energetic, he loves to be outside. Tried to get him trained especially outdoors he will bark and tug when seeing other dogs or people. Very very excited and loud when seeing people. He is potty trained. We’ve had him since he was 8 months old or so. He’s been showing signs of allergies in his ears and we just don’t have a lot of time to care for him or even take him on walks he is constantly in his kennel.

Story
Elsa is a gorgeous Husky with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful girl is incredibly smart, eager to please, and already crate and leash trained. She’s the perfect mix of spirited and obedient—ready to run, play, and then settle in for a car ride (which she loves). Elsa is very people-friendly and thrives on attention and companionship. With her outgoing personality and loyal nature, she’ll make a fantastic addition to an active home that appreciates the intelligence and enthusiasm Huskies bring. If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate, and fun-loving best friend, Elsa is your perfect match. Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2380668##

Story
Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast.
