Story
This is Mozzie. His birthday is 08/18/2021. He’s a purebred Siberian Husky. He’s a very sweet boy. He loves to play with other dogs, especially other huskies. He is friendly with cats that he can get to know. We have 3 and he loves them. He has been around children of all ages. But I would recommend he’s only around children that don’t yank and pester since he’s a little hyperactive at times and may jump trying to play around. He knows basic commands, sit, stay, down, speak and shake. He enjoys being outside on cooler days. If it’s hot, he may dig but that’s typical for a husky. He is also kennel trained. You say kennel, he goes straight into it. He loves to have a dog friend with him, his “brother” and him are always together. I would like it to stay that way if any way possible. The reason I am rehoming him is because I have had to increase my time away from home and I work quite a bit now. He needs more time outside and someone that can be there to stimulate his needs.

Story
Luna is a beautiful 5-year-old dog who is incredibly loving, loyal, and affectionate with her people. This is an extremely difficult decision for our family, but we are looking to find her a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and thrive.Luna does very well with adults and older children, but she is anxious and nervous around babies and very young children. Because of this, we believe she would be happiest in a home without babies or toddlers. She has never bitten a person or another dog*Luna generally does great with other dogs and enjoys their company, though she can become anxious and defensive if she feels threatened. She would do best with a responsible owner who understands her personality and can provide her with a stable, loving environment. She’s a great adventure dog! Has has some training off and on leash. Good recall. She truly is a sweet and loving dog, and our priority is finding the right home where she can be happy and loved for the rest of her life.

Story
Meet Maya, a sweet 4.5 -year-old Husky mix! Maya is absolutely gorgeous with her beautiful fluffy white coat and brown spot detailing, combined with striking blue eyes - she truly can’t leave the house without getting a compliment (or two, or five!) Maya was born deaf, but it doesn’t slow her down at all. She can be a bit timid in large social settings like dog parks until she gets comfortable, but when she does she LOVES to play with dog pals! She’s very attentive to her person; she knows some basic hand commands for sit, come, and no, and is a quick learner if you want to teach her anything else. She loves to go for walks and hikes, and is really great on off-leash trails, always looking back and checking and never getting too far ahead. She’s a bit less vocal than a lot of huskies, but will bark and sing for you when she really wants your attention. She’s very sweet, loves giving out lots of kisses and snuggling in moderation, but also does her own thing and can often be found napping on the coolest part of the floor. She’s completely house trained and knows to only chew her toys. She doesn’t do well in close confinement like a crate or being closed in a room (a dog gate is a better option if she can’t roam around). She is also pretty reactive to cats - she just wants to play but doesn’t really pick up on the signals they give her, and has a difficult time leaving them be.Maya would do very well in a cat-free house where she can have free reign, ideally with another dog friend who will both play with her and hold their boundaries, and a person who will take her for lots of walks and exercise opportunities and be patient with her special quirks. She is a magical, beautiful, sweet, loving companion and would be an unforgettable addition to the right home.Feldman’s Deli is helping make brighter days possible for Maya!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is sponsored by Rebel Paw!
