Story
Chance! He is 9 years old, energetic and also a snuggly home body. Super friendly with kids and big dogs but no so much small dogs and cats. This is our dream child but we’re moving and unfortunately incapable of keeping him. As much as it breaks our heart we NEED a new home for him. Again, this breaks our heart but we really want to find the right home for him in a predominantly snowy area. He really likes to be outside so a large fenced in yard would be best. Otherwise we would bring him to Florida with us.

Story
Meet Perpendicular!Perpendicular is a 3-year-old tricolor mixed breed with the softest heart and the cutest little teddy bear ears you’ve ever seen. This sweet boy can be a bit shy at first and may retreat to the back of his kennel when you walk by — but don’t let that fool you. Give him a moment and he’ll find his courage, scooting back up to the front to rub against the bars, asking to be smothered in pets and love. He’s dog friendly, has done well with kids (though can be a little shy around them), and is gentle and affectionate once he feels safe. His small tail wags at a million miles per hour when he’s happy, which is often once he knows you’re there for him.Perpendicular is fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated, and he’s ready for a patient, loving home that will help his confidence bloom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little reassurance and a lot of love, Perpendicular may be your perfect match.

Story
Hi! I'm Taz!I'm a whirlwind of fun with a clever twist! Just like his name suggests, Taz has a spirited, energetic side, but he's also a confident, independent guy who enjoys doing his own thing while still wanting to be your trusted partner in life. He's very smart, walks nicely on a leash, and loves staying active, whether that means a good adventure or playtime with his favorite toys. Taz responds best to gentle handling and mutual respect, and once you're on the same team, he's happy to listen and learn. Toss in some tasty treats, and you'll quickly see just how much this athletic, confident boy enjoys sharing life with his people-on his own cool terms.*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 56 Age: 2yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
Hi, I'm Onyx! I'm a sweet, fun-loving girl with a big personality and all the classic husky flair-tons of energy, a love for toys, and a heart that's always ready for the next adventure. I adore going places, exploring new sights, and keeping life exciting, especially when kids are around to share the fun. Treats are one of my favorite things (okay... one of my many favorites), and I definitely come with a little sass to keep things interesting. I'm vocal and proud of it, so I'll always let you know exactly how I'm feeling-whether it's time to play, time to go, or time for snacks!*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 61 Age: 4yrs 4mths 2wks
