Story
Kylo is an 8 year old, 45 lb. remarkably chill, male Husky mix. He is housetrained, crate trained and knows basic commands like sit, down and shake. Kylo's fur is a little thin in places due to a thyroid condition but it doesn't slow him down at all. He knows he's a handsome boy and likes to prance around to show it. Kylo loves going for walks, hikes, car rides and playing fetch. He also loves snuggling on the couch with his humans and just lounging for a belly rub. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. His condition does require him to take medication 2x/day, which he does with no problems. Kylo is a very sweet pup who would just love to settle down in his furever home.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Story
Meet Rieka – The Loyal & Loving Husky Shepherd Mix!Hi, I’m Rieka! If you’re looking for a devoted and affectionate best friend, I just might be the perfect match for you. I’m a stunning five-year-old Siberian Husky/White German Shepherd mix, weighing about 50 pounds. I lost my home through no fault of my own, but now I’m ready to find my forever family! I currently live with my foster family, which includes two kids and two other dogs. They describe me as friendly, happy, smart, and an absolute joy to be around. I love kids and have been happy meeting people and dogs of all kinds. Playtime is always fun, but I also appreciate a good snuggle when it's time to relax. I’m completely house-trained, crate-trained, and have wonderful house manners. My foster mom says I’m the total package—loving, well-behaved, and ready to bring joy to a lucky family. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and well-mannered pup to join your home, I’d love to meet you! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Did you know that, technically, Daddy Longlegs are not spiders? I guess the staff working at the sanctuary doesn't know that because I am part of the Spider Litter (made up of 7 puppies). When I first got here, I was scared of everything. But now, I am starting to like new things and new people. My favorite things are playing in the puppy park here, playing with toys and playing with my siblings - basically I love to play! Oh, I also love snacks, but who doesn't! I may be a bit shy when I first meet you, but I would love a home to call my own. Like all puppies, I will need gentle guidance to grow into the best dog I can be.

Story
Tarantula is cute and fuzzy just like a real tarantula. But unlike the spider kind, this one you can pet! Although she has a lot of opinions she wants to share with you, she is actually very silly and one of the more social pups in her litter. She loves to play with toys, run around with her siblings and try to steal treats out of my pockets! Like all puppies, she will need gentle guidance to grow into the best dog she can be.

Story
What a silly name for a Spider - Hobo!? Anyways, I guess that's my name right now, but you could change it if you fell in love with me and took me home! Currently, I am a bit nervous around new people and new situations. But the more people I meet and the more things I see about the world- the more I like them. My favorite things right now are playing with my siblings, fun toys and romping around in the puppy park at the sanctuary. Someday I bet one of my favorite things could be hanging out with you! Like all puppies, I will need gentle guidance to grow into the best dog I can be!
