Story
This beautiful girl is Kokomo. She has had a rough life, but is looking forward to a bright future! Kokomo is friendly with people. She loves to cuddle on the sofa and just be with her person. She is an active girl and will need someone committed to giving her the physical and mental exercise she needs. Kokomo would be an excellent hiking or jogging buddy. She would love going camping and on fun adventures. Kokomo loves going for car rides! She does know some commands and learns quickly. Kokomo gets along pretty well with dogs her size in her foster home. She can play a bit rough, but does ok with corrections. Kokomo has some prey drive and would do best without any smaller animals in her new home. She is WAY too interested in birds, so they are a no-go. Kokomo lives up to her Husky ancestry. She likes to explore even if it means escaping LOL. She can sail over a 3 foot fence like Superman and runs like the Flash. She has been good with a 6 foot fence, but probably should not be left outside for long periods unsupervised. Kokomo is housebroken and crate trained. We strongly encourage adopters to enroll in Basic Training Classes to help guide them through teaching their new dogs how to be calm, confident, and well mannered. Kokomo is going to make the best Adventure Buddy and Best Friend for some lucky person!

Story
Meet Tonita — an affectionate 8-year-old girl with soulful eyes, a loving heart, and a spark that makes her seem much younger than her years. While she may be a senior on paper, Tonita still has a fiery little spirit and plenty of enthusiasm for life. Tonita is housetrained and happiest when she’s close to her people. Whether she’s joining you for a leisurely walk or curled up beside you on the couch, she simply wants to be near the ones she loves. Belly rubs and treats are the fastest way to her heart, and she has an adorable begging pose with her front paws whenever she’s hoping for a snack or some extra attention. She has an excitement for adventures and loves going outside, exploring, and even swimming with a little assistance. One of Tonita’s sweetest qualities is how much she enjoys other dogs — especially small dogs and puppies, whom she’s always eager to greet them. Tonita is the perfect mix of gentle couch potato and spirited companion, and she’s ready to spend her golden years loving someone with her whole heart.

Story
Come on Barbie, let’s go party. Barbie is a beautiful girl with a fabulous personality to match. She knows she’s the star of the show and carries herself accordingly, graceful, charming, and just a little bit iconic. While Ken may spend his days absolutely obsessed with Barbie, she’s a bit more independent. She loves Ken in her own way… but Barbie has places to be and people to see. This lovely lady enjoys attention, good company, and living her best life. She’s sweet, social, and has a way of making everyone around her fall in love instantly. Barbie currently lives with Ken, who thinks the sun rises and sets just for her, and honestly… he may not be wrong. Barbie is also on a bit of a wellness journey right now, so she’s looking for a home committed to helping her stay happy, healthy, and feeling her best. Think less “Malibu Beach Party” and more “hot girl walk.” She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’s Barbie.
