Story
Kenai is a typical Husky—very vocal, mischievous, loves to be around his people. He’s 7 years old, trained to sit, stay, down. Likes to pull when walking, but corrects well. Shy around new people, responds well to treats, very affectionate. He was my eldest son’s dog, but son moved out over a year ago and can’t take Kenai. I already have another Husky and am overwhelmed with dealing with both of them together. Kenai has also had a problem lately with peeing in particular spots in the house. He is usually housebroken and has full access to a side yard, but he appears to be marking territory and we feel it may be a response to one of the cats in the house.

She truly just wants to be included but is definitely still working on her manners. Keyana is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She is also house and crate trained. Story
This beautiful husky is Calamity, and she has a personality as bright as the moon! She is an active 3 year old and is just nice as can be. When walking outside, she is easy-going, and just sometimes she will get excited by puppies, squirrels, and birds. Her fluffy tail wags with excitement whenever she meets new friends, and her expressive face is sure to make you smile every day. Though she likes meeting other dog friends, she is selective with which ones she chooses to pick as regular playmates. Calamity is house trained and quiet inside the house. When left alone, she waits patiently for her humans to return so she can welcome you home! She is also such a good girl, she is trusted to be left out in her foster home and doesn't get into any trouble. Her favorite thing is being with her people, especially if you want to go out for a run she'd gladly join you. She is still working on building up her confidence, and will sometimes get nervous when seeing big trucks or meeting new people. But all she needs is a little encouragement from her person to get over her initial shyness. Sweet Calamity is ready to shine in her forever home. Could that be yours?Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. Story
This striking beauty is Aslan. She is a 2 year old, 45 lb Husky mix who's always ready for the next adventure. Aslan was born deaf, but that doesn't slow her down! Her deafness doesn't define her; her joyful spirit does. In fact, she's really not that different from a hearing dog. One of her favorite activities is hitting the hiking trail, and she is even great off leash. She's a sweet and fun-loving goofball, always ready to make you laugh with her playful antics. Aslan's deafness doesn't dampen her spirit. Instead, it amplifies her other senses, making her a unique and special companion. Her loyalty is unwavering, and she's always ready to shower you with love and happiness. She gets along with other dogs and just loves her people. She gets so excited when you enter the room. She goes to daycare, and they say she loves playing with any dog who will let her. She did well with cats as a puppy but hasn't lived with one in the last year. She is already house trained too! Aslan is a joyful, loving, loyal, bouncy fluffball looking for a forever family to call her own. Adopt Aslan and let her bring sunshine into your life. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. Story
Meet Yuka! His family passed away and he found himself alone looking for a home. Our amazing dog trainer and foster Molly with Petes Adventure Pack (in Utah) stepped up to offer her home and some training so he could get a second chance at love. Yuka is currently in SLC Utah but able to travel to Colorado. He is a very well behaved boy that has a good amount of energy and will need an active home but he is also very good at relaxing. He is super confident as well and has handled all these bad situations wonderfully. He would make a good first time husky owner as he’s such an easy going guy and has had some training already **Walks great on leash and is crate trained **Active pup, is already an amazing sled dog and goes with his 6 foster siblings. Six miles is easy peasy for him **Previous owner says he was around kids the age of 10 and was very sweet **He has high prey drive and wants to chase cats so no cats in his home All POSO Dogs come with 2 free dog training sessions and fully vetted

Story
Delilah is a young dog who was sold from a corner puppy stand to a family who didn’t understand the needs of Huskies. Delilah just over a year old and is full of energy and fun. Delilah needs an active home and a family who has time to teach her how to walk on a leash, sit and other good doggy manners. She is very smart and does learn quickly. Delilah likes other dogs and kids. She knows how to use a doggy door, loves car rides and loves to play fetch. Delilah would love to be in a home where she can be walked at least once a day. She would be a great running partner. And when all the exercising is done, Delilah has the love and loyalty part of being a good dog down pat! She will curl up with you and watch TV or lay by your side while you read. With a little effort from an adopter, Delilah will be a super companion. Delilah has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Maryjo at 801-809-0602 or email maryjokorb@gmail.com.

We've been fostering Dutchess for a couple of weeks. She's a fun and loving 5 year old Alaskan Malamute. She is house and kennel trained. She gets along well with kids. With adults, she takes a couple of days to warm up to them before she's comfortable. After those couple of days, she'll be your best friend. She gets along well with our chocolate lab and has been friendly with every dog she's met. Dutchess loves car rides, hikes and belly rubs.
