Story
If you`re looking for a laidback, well-seasoned dog to go on adventures with, Boris is your guy! He is a mild-mannered boy who likes to keep his space nice and tidy and is potty trained. He is not food motivated, he`d rather hide them away and never touch them. He loves having made up songs sung to him and wants someone to do morning stretches with. Boris is EXCELLENT with commands and walks wonderfully on lead. He does require a lot of outdoor time, so please consider adopting him if you`re interested in this fun loving boy.

Juno is a very sweet, good natured dog who probably needs to be the only dog in a household. She is very loving, loves to be pet, is very curious, and loves to be involved in whatever you're doing. She's a leaner - she loves to lean in to you and is kind of clumsy. She has stunning blue eyes and is friendly to any people she meets. I really love this dog. Only one problem - she resource guards in the form of growling. She has never bitten anyone, but I have a small child (18 mos) and he is very interested in playing with her. But, if she has a favorite toy, or is eating, she lets out a scary growl if he or any of the other dogs approach her. She's just issuing a warning imo - she has never bitten anyone, but I can't take the risk any longer. I can't get her to stop doing it. I think Juno would benefit from being an only dog with at least a little land to run around on.

Story
If you’re looking for a partner who thinks the best place on Earth is glued to your side, then Tony is your guy! He’s a happy, cream colored adventurer who believes that life is a team sport, and he’s ready to be your MVP. Tony is the ultimate Velcro dog with a side of goofy, a serious passion for pets and snuggles. Whether you’re working at your desk, eating dinner, or just hanging out, Tony will gladly curl up right under your feet. He wants to be involved in every single thing you do especially if it involves a garden hose! Watering the plants becomes a hilarious game of splash and play when Tony is around. He is a loyal companion and will greet you at the door with his favorite toy in his mouth, ready to show you how much he missed his favorite person. You have to see this goofy boy in action check out his below to see his famous hose zoomies! https://youtu.be/achl-y6icUg While his true DNA is a mystery, we suspect Tony is a majestic Husky mix with a coat as soft as a cloud and a heart twice his size. Tipping the scales at a sturdy 63 lbs, he is the ultimate adventure sized sidekick. He’s solid enough to be your hiking partner, but compact enough that he won't hog the entire couch during movie night (though he’ll definitely try to negotiate for the middle cushion!). Tony is basically a professional co pilot in training; he loads up into the car with ease and is always sitting pretty and ready to hit the road for a pup cup or a park trip. As with all our rescue superstars, his breed is a best guess, but those soulful eyes and "toasted marshmallow" looks are 100% guaranteed! Tony has been absolutely thriving in his foster home, and let’s just say he’s the ultimate house guest! He’s a total gold star student when it comes to house rules; he is fully potty trained and hasn't had a single "oopsie" indoors he’s much too sophisticated for that! When it’s time for some quiet time, Tony is crate trained. He treats his kennel like his own private, cozy VIP lounge where he can catch up on his beauty sleep. He currently lives with a 30lb canine sibling and even some tiny human kiddos (yep, including a little one under a year old!), proving he’s a gentle, patient soul who is a friend to everyone. If we told you he graduated at the top of his class, you’d believe us this boy is one smart cookie! He’s a straight-A student with his manners and is already a master of "sit," "down," "stay," "place," "left," "right," "up," and "off." He even knows his "kennel" command by heart; he’s basically a genius in a fluffy fur coat! When it comes to other pups, Tony is a total gentleman! He’s a regular at doggy daycare and is perfectly happy to be part of the pack, though he’s not the type to get caught up in high-speed wrestling matches. He’s more of a social observer who enjoys the company of others without needing to be the center of the action. Whether he’s hanging out with his 30lb foster brother or wandering the yard at daycare, Tony is a peaceful, easygoing friend to all dogs. He’s a medium energy guy who has truly mastered the art of the chill. While he might engage in a little play here and there, he is more than content to just share a warm sunspot in the grass with a buddy. Because he’s so well adjusted and mellow, he’d be a fantastic addition to a household with other dogs, but he’s also perfectly happy being your one and only star of the show! Now, what about the feline variety? Tony hasn't told us his official opinion on cats just yet! We have a feeling Tony is more than willing to share his world of cuddles and sun soaking spots with a kitty friend! To make sure he’s ready to hand over a snuggle permit to a feline roommate, he’d love to have a cozy kitty sleepover with one of our rescue cats as a trial run! This way, we can ensure Tony is on his way to becoming the bestest of buds with a cat before the official move in day. Tony’s dream home includes endless ear scratches, a yard for epic water hose adventures, and a family who doesn't mind a very cuddly 63 lb shadow! Because Tony is an outdoor enthusiast who takes his yard duties very seriously, he is looking for a home with a fenced in yard rather than an apartment. He needs that private green space to ensure every single blade of grass is thoroughly sniffed and every warm sun spot is perfectly lounged upon! Once his very important yard work is done, he’ll be ready to head inside and resume his favorite job: being right by your side. Whether it’s supervised gardening or movie marathons, Tony just wants to be part of the team. And if you’re a fan of a morning serenade, you’re in luck; Tony loves to start the day with a gentle, happy "awoo" to let you know he’s ready for breakfast and some morning snuggles. He’d thrive with a family who wants a devoted partner for every adventure he’s the kind of boy who will greet you at the door with his absolute favorite toy held proudly in his mouth, wiggling with pure joy! He might take a couple of days to fully settle in and show you his peak goofy personality, but once he knows he’s home, you’ll have a devoted companion for life! Tony is the definition of a total package, pup who checks every single box you could ask for: he is fully potty trained, crate trained (it’s his favorite private VIP lounge!), and is incredibly gentle and patient with kids of all ages. In short, Tony is a brilliant, toy toting, water loving gentleman who is just waiting for the right family to give him all the snuggles he can handle. He’s the perfect blend of a trained scholar and a cuddly, happy go lucky best friend! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69d92e0e46ec1036ed088b94 Questions? Story
Who doesn’t love a fun, loving, full of life Husky that instantly puts a smile on your face because he just seems so happy all the time?! Well, say hello to Sid Smitty Truly the dog version of a human exclamation point. He has this contagious, feel-good energy about him that makes being around him so much fun. From what we’ve seen so far, Sid Smitty genuinely seems happiest when he’s included in whatever is going on. Hanging out with people? Amazing. Playing with dog friends? Best day ever. Getting attention and affection? Absolutely yes. He’s been incredibly sweet with everyone he’s met and has this way of melting right into you for love like he’s known you forever. What makes him extra special though is that he really seems to have the best of both worlds personality-wise. He can be playful, goofy, and full of silly Husky fun one minute, then perfectly content cuddling up beside you soaking in affection the next. He’s also done great around kids and overall just gives off that “life is more fun when this dog is around” kind of vibe. Watch his video and fall in love with this guy: https://youtu.be/0fXkEOavbus?si=kyyQdMDCbkOvIRgU Sid Smitty is believed to be a Husky mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 59 lbs. Which seems like a big number on paper and when you’re reading it. He is a big dog but he’s more legs, height and fluff than he is poundage. And as if Sid wasn’t already unique enough, this boy has one random little black spot right in the middle of his tail like someone accidentally booped him with a paintbrush and decided, “yep, perfect, leave it.” It’s such a silly little detail but somehow makes him even cuter and gives him so much character. Like his tail needed its own beauty mark or something LOL. If you watched his video then you saw his interactions around a 2 year old. Sid was honestly SO sweet with her and seemed genuinely happy just being included in all the little moments and chaos. Right away he was confidently going up to her while she was swinging a cat toy around everywhere, following her around curiously, and just happily existing in the middle of all the action. He wasn’t bothered by whining, crying noises, or unpredictable toddler energy at all. And despite being a goofy Husky boy with basically zero spatial awareness LOL, he was naturally very gentle with her. One of the sweetest moments was when they were both up on the couch together and Sid completely melted into her, like fully laid on her like a giant fluffy weighted blanket just soaking up the cuddles. It was one of those moments where everyone in the room was like “okay wait… this is ridiculously cute.” Based off what we’ve seen, he really seems to have a lot of potential to make a super fun, affectionate family dog in the right home. With other dogs, Sid has done great with all of the dogs we have introduced him to. He has been with dogs ranging in sizes (some as small as 8lbs) and personalities. From what we have seen, Sid gravitates towards playful dogs like himself the most. And when he does find a playmate, he truly shines. Consistent of games of chase, wrestling matches, and if you know shepherds, then you know they like to throw paws and love mouthy type play. In a home, he would do great with a fun, happy, confident female that likes to play, enjoys rowdy play and also a dog that appreciates the calmer hangout moments too. If you don’t have other dogs that’s fine too. We believe Sid could be just as happy being the center of your attention. Sid also met our house cat Biggie and appeared to be just as friendly with him as he is with dogs. Almost as if Biggie was another pal to play with. Biggie is very dog savvy and is comfortable around dogs and will even play with dogs he is comfortable with. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Yes, Sid can be a super fun, active, adventurous guy but he also has a calm side as well. He has had no problem making himself feel right at home and will lay right on top of you if you let him. Who doesn't love GSD snuggles?! He seems to already have some level of understanding that play time is an outside luxury and has good house manners. Though, he has shown that he is comfortable with couch cuddles and may attempt to sneak a snack or too off tables LOL. He hasn’t done it yet, but with his love for food and the advantage of being on the taller side. A small plate of your leftovers might be really tempting for him. Sid has enjoyed playing with toys, in particular rope toys and toys that he can play tug with. He also likes to play with balls too! In all honesty, we believe he would like playing with any kind of toy if that means you’re engaging in the play too. From what we have seen, Sid isn’t play play play 24/7. A little fun outdoors with his doggy friends or backyard play sessions with people, Sid will be prepped and ready for snuggles. Not feeling snuggly? That’s fine. He has been really good about finding a cozy spot on the floor and settling in with his favorite toy and is perfectly content doing his own thing. We are willing to test Sid Smitty with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
