Story
Meet Peyton! Peyton is a 4-year-old, 6-pound little sweetheart who is looking for one very important thing: her person. This tiny girl is incredibly sweet, loving, and happiest when she gets to be right by your side. She loves everyone she meets and would happily accept the position of professional sidekick. Whether you're running errands, going for a walk, taking a car ride, or settling in for the night, Peyton is ready to come along. And when bedtime rolls around? She would very much like a spot in bed with you, please. Peyton is great on a leash, wonderful in the car, and crate trained. She is also trustworthy when left out and isn't destructive. She's potty trained and, when outside access isn't available, she's smart enough to use potty pads. She does great with dogs and cats and is just an all-around happy little girl who loves people. At only 6 pounds, she doesn't take up much room, but she's fully prepared to become a very big part of your life. If you've been looking for a tiny best friend who wants to love you, sleep beside you, and tag along wherever life takes you, Peyton is your girl.   Apply to adopt Peyton: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13102/generic ##1744438##

Story
Calling all experienced Jack Russell Terrier lovers! Are you looking for a true, full-of-energy JRT? Meet Akira — the playful adventure-seeker! Akira is a spirited 15 lb Jack Russell Terrier who is ready to bounce her way into the heart of the right person. True to her breed, she is incredibly smart, curious, energetic, and always looking for her next adventure. She loves exploring new places, car rides, toys, and dog puzzles. Thanks to her compact size, she’s the perfect companion to take almost anywhere. Akira is also very affectionate and deeply bonded to her people. She loves cuddling, being close to her humans, and being part of everyday life. She is used to having people around and should not be left alone for long periods of time. Like many intelligent working breeds, Akira needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Without proper outlets for her energy and curiosity, she can become destructive with household objects. Please note that Jack Russell Terriers are not the right fit for every household, especially for first-time dog adopters. Akira is a textbook JRT — she comes with all the amazing qualities people love about the breed, along with the strong personality and quirks that require experienced handling, structure, and leadership. Akira has territorial instincts typical of the breed and does not do well with strangers entering her home, so slow, structured introductions are essential. Her ideal home is an adult-only, calm household with limited visitors and confident owners who can provide clear boundaries and guidance. Akira is good with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship, especially with larger, balanced dogs. However, she can be alpha and bossy when first meeting new dogs, so proper introductions and an experienced adopter who can confidently manage interactions are important. Akira is potty trained and comfortable using potty pads or a doggy door. She is crate trained, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. Akira would thrive in an active, structured home with people familiar with Jack Russell Terriers. In return, she will reward her family with loyalty, cuteness, endless entertainment, cuddles, and adventure. If you think Akira could be the perfect fit for your household and lifestyle, we would love for you to apply to adopt her! Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Akira the home she deserves! Story
Meet Sass! Sass is an 8.5-year-old Terrier mix weighing just 14 pounds. Don't let her name fool you—she's a sweet, gentle little dog with a loving heart. She can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and enjoys being part of the family. Sass does well with people of all ages, including children, and loves the comfort of a calm home. She's quiet and well-mannered indoors, making her an easy companion to relax with. On walks, Sass is a bit more vocal and likes to bark when she sees other dogs. She especially isn't a fan of large dogs and would be happiest in a home where she can avoid close interactions with them. Sass is not a good match for a home with cats.  With thoughtful management and an understanding adopter, she's a wonderful little companion who has so much love to give. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who enjoys a peaceful home and just needs a little time to build trust, Sass could be the perfect match.   Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Sass the home she deserves!
