Story
Looking to a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with a family or someone with a lot of energy. She’s very affectionate, friendly, and high-energy, loves car rides, and would be great at catching outside pests. Needs a bit of attention with leash-training, basic commands, and being food-driven, but she’s very smart and just needs consistency. Would be great for a family with younger, very active children

Story
Calling all Jack Russell Terrier lovers! Are you looking for a true, full-of-energy JRT? Meet Akira – The Playful Adventure-Seeker!  Akira is a spirited Jack Russell Terrier who’s ready to bounce her way into your heart!Weighing just 15 lbs, this pint-sized bundle of energy is the perfect companion for an active person or family with older kids. True to her breed, Akira is incredibly smart, curious, and always on the lookout for her next adventure.   She absolutely loves going for walks, playing with her toys and dog puzzles. Akira does well with older, respectful kids (teens) who understand how to interact with dogs. She isn’t the best fit for families with young children, as she doesn’t enjoy their high energy or playful handling.   She gets along with other dogs and enjoys their company, though she prefers slow, gentle introductions when meeting new furry friends   Akira is potty trained and is comfortable using potty pads or a doggy door. She is also crate trained, spayed and up to date on shots.   Akira would thrive in a home that offers plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Her ideal family is one familiar with Jack Russells or similar breeds who can give her the activity, stimulation, structure, and love she needs to stay happy.   Akira’s loving nature and adventurous spirit make her an amazing addition to the right family. She loves car rides and due to her size, she is the perfect companion for going literally anywhere!   Are you ready to be her forever companion? Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Akira (and Aisha!) the home they deserve! Story
Meet Liberty: From Devoted Mama to Your New Adventure Buddy Liberty is a beautiful white and brown terrier who has officially finished raising her puppies — and now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. This happy, energetic girl greets each morning ready to go! From sunrise until about 8 PM, Liberty is full of life, tail wags, and enthusiasm. Whether she’s heading out for a walk, hopping in the car for an adventure, or playing with other dogs, she’s all in. She would thrive with an active family — especially one with another dog who can match her playful energy. Liberty is: Housebroken Great on a leash A fan of car rides Dog-friendly and playful While she has plenty of pep in her step, Liberty has a soft side too. In the evenings, she happily settles into her bed — or better yet, onto your lap for cuddle time. She loves being close to her people and soaking up affection after a full day of fun. Because of her zest for life, Liberty would do best in a home with older children who can appreciate her excitement and playful spirit. She prefers sleeping in her own cozy bed and enjoys spending her days out and about rather than in a crate. After giving her all to her puppies, Liberty is more than ready for a family who will give their love right back. If you’re looking for a loyal, lively companion who balances adventure with affection, Liberty might just be your perfect match. ##2637152##
