Gemma belongs to my son,who has moved away. I am a senior citizen and am unable to care for Gemma. She has a sweet disposition but gets jealous of other dogs in the home. She wants and loves all the attention. She likes to cuddle. She is an excellent watch dog, alerting you if something or someone is not the norm. She's an inside dog but loves the outdoors. Be sure and look at all three pictures to get an idea of how darling this precious pup is.

Story
**Courtesy Post** Say hello to JEWEL! This precious little 3 year old female needs a home where she can be the only dog. Or possibly the only female. She is a shortie girl coming in at 10 pounds! She is well trained and very well mannered and even likes cats. However, no kiddos. Jewel will need a home with a securely fenced yard. No short chainlink, no wrought iron unless it is reinforced. No electronic fencing. Jewel is spayed, vaccinated and very frisky and healthy. She is also a great walking partner, ball chaser, snuggle bunny, sleeping partner, movie watcher, and loving companion. In order to adopt her you must have a good vet reference. There is a small rehoming fee. If you are interested please contact her owner at marybethany444@aol.com and they will email you an adoption application. Jewel’s adopter will need to drive to the Gordonville, Texas/Ardmore, Oklahoma area to get her.

Story
Meet Evie, a vibrant and joyful Jack Russell terrier mix, who at just 1 ½ years old and weighing about 37 lbs, is already capturing hearts. Evie's journey with Duck Team 6 began thanks to the dedication of a kind-hearted Good Samaritan and several attentive neighbors in a Lewisville community. After a month of being cared for and watched over, Evie gracefully waltzed right into one of our Duck Team 6 traps, marking the beginning of her new life. Evie has since been thriving in a loving foster home, surrounded by a warm-hearted family, four canine companions, and a revolving door of visiting dogs and children. She adores kids and forms deep bonds with her fellow furry friends, particularly her best pal, Skylar, as seen in her photo. Her foster mom describes Evie as exceptionally intelligent and quick to learn. Full of energy, she exhibits an athletic prowess, reveling in running, jumping, and playful escapades in the backyard. Evie would make an excellent partner for anyone with an active lifestyle and is looking for an enthusiastic exercise buddy. She's crate-trained and is working to improve her leash manners. But it's not all about play for Evie; she's also a cuddle enthusiast, cherishing moments spent snuggled up on the couch with her human friends. This sweet girl is eagerly awaiting her forever home where she can share her boundless love and zest for life. If you're looking for a spirited, affectionate companion, Evie might just be your perfect match. To learn more about Evie, please reach out to placement@duckteam6.org. Evie can't wait to meet her new family!     May 2, 2024, 11:01 am

Story
Danielle aka Coco is a sweet, comical little girl. She loves being petted and is quick to offer her belly for tummy rubs. She enjoys tearing around the backyard, at breakneck speed but stops after a couple of laps. She loves playing with her foster buddy, Marvin (aka Vinnie), but she can sometimes challenge other small dogs. She will also initially challenge larger dogs, but stops after being put in her place a time or two with a bark from the larger dog. Coco was returned for nipping at a baby but she was okay with toddlers in her foster home when she returned to our program. Because of her history, I would not recommend placing her with babies or children under the age of 6 or so. A trial period with any other dogs in the home would be recommended. She could also be an only dog and be perfectly happy. She loves people. ****Prior to filling out an application or contacting RHS, please completely read the instructions below.**** ALL ADOPTERS/FOSTERS MUST LIVE WITHIN 60 MILES OF RICHARDSON, TX.
