Meet Lola, the long-legged beauty who looks like someone took a husky and stretched her out vertically! With her unique build and striking features, she turns heads everywhere she goes. Lola is very sweet but on the shy side, especially when meeting new people. Once she warms up, her gentle nature shines through. She has plenty of energy, just as you’d expect from a husky mix, and loves to stay active. Her former owner shared that she was good with all people, dogs, cats, and kids, and that she is house trained. Lola can jump a 4-foot fence, but she’s been doing great with 6-foot fencing in her current environment. She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Since then, Handsome stayed at a foster hom but was forced to return to the center because he had nowhere to go after his termination of foster stay. One donor feeling sorry about Handsome sent him to a training center. After spending a year there, Handsome is now at the Adogs center waiting for his family. 3⃣ Personality and Characteristics * With People: Is a little shy with strangers, but gets to take it easy and approaches when he gets used to people and feels secured. Also accepts people's touching very well! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs at the center. Hangs out with his close buddies, too. * With Cats: Didn't pay much attention to cats in meeting them during the walk. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed because he is currently living in a group at the center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed since he is currently staying at the center. Relieved himself at the corner of the playground in the training center, or in the grass during walks. * Walks: Is good at walking when he feels stable, but tends to avoid by pulling on the leash when facing with strangers or anxiety factors. * Hygiene: Was nervous at first, but has adapted to bathing, drying, and brushing. Now gets just fine with it. * Bite: Bited before while getting his hind leg corrected at the vet clinic of the training center. As usual, the shelter was overcrowded and full of abandoned animals. The Korean Thanksgiving holidays were atypically long this year, and there wouldn’t have been enough workers to care for the animals. Adogs urgently rescued her so she wouldn’t have to spend the holidays neglected and alone. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Really likes people and shows affection even to strangers. Loves being petted! * With Dogs: Is sociable and gets along with the other dogs at the Center. Even when other dogs show aggressive behaviors to her, she doesn’t try to fight back and is a scaredy-cat, sometimes even overreacting her fear. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear, since she’s living communally at the Center. Will need training from scratch. * Potty Training:Unclear, since she’s potties outdoor at the Center. Health Condition * Neutered: Complete. * Others: Microchipped, will be retested for bladder stones in January 2026. * Is allergic to chicken (causes itching on the back of ears.) * Received surgery to remove bladder stones. The stones were made up of calcium oxalate, which have a high chance of recurrence. Therefore, consistent care and management is required. * His ear infection is almost cleared up and only requires one type of ear drops now. There’s still some bacteria on his skin but it’s not severe. He’s getting medicated baths once or twice a week. 2.) Rescue Story * Harry came to the city shelter together with his mother, Gahui. They were both adopted through Adogs in 2021 after overcoming a difficult past. Unfortunately, four years later, they have been returned and are now looking for a new family again. 3.) Personality & Habits * With People: Gets scared when strangers reach out their hands. However, if you give him time, he will come up to sniff you and enjoys sticking close to people. Even shows cute affection to those who he’s opened his heart to. Used to live well with a human baby and showed good manners around children. * With Dogs: Lived peacefully with his mother Gahui. Becomes overly excited and wants to jump out of his dog stroller when he sees new dogs because he wants to get closer. * With Cats: Stared at cats when outside in his stroller. * Separation Anxiety: Has rarely been left completely alone, as he is used to staying with a doggy roommate. Tends to rely on other dogs. Doesn’t have any separation anxiety and actually becomes more nervous if other dogs cause trouble without people around. * House Training: Fully house-trained for both indoor and outdoor potty. * Walking on Leash: Walks very well on leash and is patient, waiting for the other dog when out for walks together. May pull slightly when he needs to potty urgently. * Hygiene/Grooming: Accepts baths well on an anti-slip mat. Tends to bite his own toenails, so his nail length should be carefully managed. * Car Sickness: No car sickness. Very calm and well-behaved in the car. * Biting: Doesn’t bite. * Barking: Tends to have a little bit of barking or whining when he wants something. * Likes : Likes soft and fluffy surfaces! * Dislike: Is scared of walking on slippery surfaces like tiles or marble.
