Story
Dori, along with his sibling Hagi (also adoptable!) were rescued from the streets of South Korea, where they bravely survived by scavenging for scraps and even had to eat newspapers to survive. Tragically, their mother was euthanized at the shelter they were taken to, but these resilient siblings have shown incredible strength and love despite their tough start. Now safe and thriving, they’re looking for their forever homes! These sweet pups are playful, affectionate, and ready to bring endless joy to their new families. They’re young, full of potential, and will make the most loyal companions. They are in foster homes in New York after flying over from Korea! Dori is still very timid but is warming up to his environment and learning to trust people. He is very smart! If you’re ready to give these survivors the love and security they deserve, apply to adopt today! ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. Story
Meet Hagi – Your Future Best Friend!  Follow his journey on Instagram: @mariasfosterfriends Update 7/21/2025 He’s come so far and is so close to being ready for his forever home! Here’s what’s new: Getting comfortable with new people, especially women (approaches them on his own terms!) Plays well with dogs outside his foster pack and thrives around other pups Wears his collar confidently — leash training is up next! Loves structure + routine, especially with other dogs to learn from Needs a home with another friendly dog and a patient female adopter Still cautious with men, but has made major progress with foster dad Total goofball with toys — obsessed with fetch, tug-of-war, and running zoomies Hagi’s goofy, gentle spirit continues to shine. With the right home, he’ll keep growing into the playful, confident pup we know he’s meant to be. 06/2025 Hagi is a 6-7 month-old Jindo mix who traveled all the way from South Korea and is slowly blooming into the quirky, cuddly pup he’s meant to be. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and a total pro with other dogs—big or small! In fact, he needs a doggy sibling to help show him the ropes and build up his trust in humans. He’s still a little shy around people (especially men) but is making sweet progress every day. Hagi’s not quite ready for walks just yet—leashes are still a little scary—but once he fully trusts his people, we’ll be working on that. For now, he’s happy to hang out at home, toss around a chew toy, or get in a solid nap while you work. He’s not the snuggly-in-your-arms type (yet!), but he’ll plop down next to you, sneak in some kisses, and lean in for scratchies when he’s feeling brave. And when he does feel brave? He’ll invite you to a game of fetch or tug like it’s the best day ever. Quick facts about Hagi: Potty trained and crate trained Loves dogs—big, small, and everything in between Knows basic commands like “sit,” “inside,” and “outside” Must go to a home with another friendly dog Favorite toys: balls, squeaky toys, and... socks! Loves stretching out by the window and soaking up the sunshine If you’ve got a pup looking for a gentle playmate and the patience to help Hagi grow at his own pace, he just might be your perfect match. Backstory: These two adorable puppies were rescued from the streets of Korea, where they bravely survived by scavenging for scraps and even eating newspapers. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Harry⚡ 💙 Adogs Center Account: @_adogs_everyday 1.) Health Condition * Neutered: Complete. * Others: Microchipped, will be retested for bladder stones in January 2026. * Is allergic to chicken (causes itching on the back of ears.) * Received surgery to remove bladder stones. The stones were made up of calcium oxalate, which have a high chance of recurrence. Therefore, consistent care and management is required. * His ear infection is almost cleared up and only requires one type of ear drops now. There’s still some bacteria on his skin but it’s not severe. He’s getting medicated baths once or twice a week. 2.) Rescue Story * Harry came to the city shelter together with his mother, Gahui. They were both adopted through Adogs in 2021 after overcoming a difficult past. Unfortunately, four years later, they have been returned and are now looking for a new family again. 3.) Personality & Habits * With People: Gets scared when strangers reach out their hands. However, if you give him time, he will come up to sniff you and enjoys sticking close to people. Even shows cute affection to those who he’s opened his heart to. Used to live well with a human baby and showed good manners around children. * With Dogs: Lived peacefully with his mother Gahui. Becomes overly excited and wants to jump out of his dog stroller when he sees new dogs because he wants to get closer. * With Cats: Stared at cats when outside in his stroller. * Separation Anxiety: Has rarely been left completely alone, as he is used to staying with a doggy roommate. Tends to rely on other dogs. Doesn’t have any separation anxiety and actually becomes more nervous if other dogs cause trouble without people around. * House Training: Fully house-trained for both indoor and outdoor potty. * Walking on Leash: Walks very well on leash and is patient, waiting for the other dog when out for walks together. May pull slightly when he needs to potty urgently. * Hygiene/Grooming: Accepts baths well on an anti-slip mat. Tends to bite his own toenails, so his nail length should be carefully managed. * Car Sickness: No car sickness. Very calm and well-behaved in the car. * Biting: Doesn’t bite. * Barking: Tends to have a little bit of barking or whining when he wants something. * Likes : Likes soft and fluffy surfaces! * Dislike: Is scared of walking on slippery surfaces like tiles or marble.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK & EWR💟 Meet Winie👑 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday 1.) Health Status * Spay: Complete. * Others: Microchipped, undergoing treatment for heartworm, anaplasma, and giardia. Dental scaling complete. 2.) Rescue Story * Winie was waiting for a family at the Gimje City Shelter. Winnie was cheerful in nature, but no one showed up to be her family. It became even more difficult for her to receive appropriate care at the overcrowded shelter during the week-long national holidays. Adogs scrambled to rescue Winie so she wouldn't spend the long holidays on her own. 3.) Personality and Characteristics * With People: Is not shy and likes people very much! Approaches and greets people who she meets for the first time without hesitation. After becoming familiar, she becomes even more affectionate by wagging her tail like helicopter, following them around, and climbing into their lap. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs! Plays very actively with a close friend named Songpyeon and has no issues with other unfamiliar dogs. * With Cats: Hasn't met any cat yet. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet because she is living in a group setting at the center. May need training from scratch when living at home. * Potty Training: Not confirmed yet because she only potties outdoors at the center. * Hygiene: Accepts toenail trimming and brushing well. * Walks: Has not gone for a walk yet because it hasn’t been long since she arrived at the Center. * Car Sickness: Showed no symptoms of car sickness when she moved from the Center to a vet clinic. * Barking: Has not barked or whined yet. * Like: Is such a cutie who really likes people and dogs!
