Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: 259 My nickname in my foster home is Joey Tribbiani (from Friends). Like my namesake, I am a goofy and free-spirited puppy! I am being given a report card to describe just how incredible of a pup I am. Potty Training 7/10. I do pee outside. I have had an accident when I was still new to my foster home. I wear pee bands and they have been wet when I couldn’t make it outside. Snuggles 20/10. He is happiest when he is next to you. He wants to cuddle all the time (when he is not playing with you). He doesn’t realize how big he is and will plop right down on you, or next to you. Appetite 10/10. He loves to eat! However, he will inhale his food if you let him. A slow bowl has helped slow him down and adding to the playfulness of his personality. He will eat carrots, apples, cheese and dog treats for sure. Playfulness: I am very playful and love toys. I also enjoy playing outside. I love squeaky toys. I have a big personality for sure and love to play with other dogs. Sometimes my foster brothers have to let me know they don’t want to play anymore. They will bark at me. I don’t always get the hint so I have to be monitored to learn my manners around other pups. He is a quick learner! Kids: I don’t realize how big I am, so he shouldn’t not be around little kids for their safety. He would do best with older kids (think 5th grade and up). He will need to be monitored with even these kids so he knows what is appropriate to chew on and not. He is very much a puppy who needs to chew and he needs to be around kids who can help teach him these manners. Crate 5/10. I work from home so they are not in the crate very often. However, he does not enjoy it and will cry. It helps to give me a big chew stick to help calm me down and pet me until I relax before closing the crate. Night Time: He sleeps at the side of the bed in a dog bed. He loves to be near his people. I spread out all of his toys and make sure I can pet him as he gets anxious. He shows anxiety by putting his paws on the bed. I give him a pat on the head and say “down”. And then when he lays, I say good boy and pat him again. He does sleep through the night once he gets to a place where he is calmed down. Overall score: 100% GOOD BOY! He just needs consistency and boundaries in his new home. He is SO eager to please and just wants to be loved. Does this sound like your kind of dog? He is also 100% in his velociraptor phase. It helps to have plenty of variety of things to chew on. He’s not picky. He just needs to know what is appropriate and he will adapt to your rules. He really is a very intelligent pup. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Lucky is a VERY sweet, well-trained 3yr old (I've had him since 13 wks). He is very timid, but builds trust quickly but loud noises will scare him. he loves nothing more than to sit by my side all day long while I work and follows me everywhere I go. He loves car rides and adventure walks and has his favorite toys to play with but for the most part....he is chill and would not complain if his tummy was rubbed all day long. He's boarded a good deal (day boarding and overnight) and does well with other doges in off-leash group play. I have a widely crazy busy work schedule (this changed after I adopted him) and I'm struggling to juggle both 12 ++ hour work days plus work travel and take care of a dog. This is probably the hardest thing I've done....I've missed hitting the submit button on several attempts to post his profile but in the end I believe this sweet boy deserves to be in a home where his owner is working all the time.

Story
Levi is a sweet, loyal, energetic dog. He loves to play with toys and be anywhere where his person is and do anything his person is doing. He is good with other dogs, but he does not do well at dog parks and high-energy places like that. He is really good with cats. He is good with kids, but he tends to get a little anxious around them and he does not like to be pet by them (he won't bite, he will just run away). He needs a person who can give him a lot of attention and love and who can give him ways to let out his energy. Going on a walk, playing fetch, hiking, and swimming are his favorite ways to let the energy out.

Story
Bauer is a wonderful dog. I have had him since he was a puppy, now 7. He’s well trained & well mannered. He knows many commands; sit, come, heel, lay down, paw, ‘let’s go’, stay, etc He waits to eat his food. He’s good on leash. He loves to be outside and with his pack. These days I cannot get him out for exercise often enough. Ideally he would have a farm where he can roam and lie in the sun. He hates being alone, and comes with me to work. He’s a great office dog, will Never growl or bark at anyone. He loves other dogs and is very playful. He’s incredibly timid. He loves women and would do best with a couple. He’ll lay next to you on the bed, but don’t expect him to cuddle. The only time you’ll hear his voice is if he’s left out of the fun. Loves to play soccer, fetch, and chase. Absolutely loves adventures and has no hesitation on hikes. He does fine with kids, but basically ignores them. He wants food and play time, or he’ll lay around looking depressed. Loves to nap in the sun.
