I adore this good boy, but I just can’t afford him anymore and my new job sometimes requires 12 hour days. I’ve struggled with rehoming him, but the most unselfish thing I can do is find him a home where he can get the love and attention he deserves. He loves to cuddle, rarely barks (unless he’s being protective of you), and is seriously spoiled (I make his dog food from scratch). He has been the best companion, so I’m literally crying as I type this. He’ll be 4 in October. Needs someone who is active and maybe has kids (he’s attached to my daughter).

Melon, the pretty girl. MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Melon, and I arrived at CSAC from a shelter. I was taken to a shelter by my former owner. The CSAC volunteer said that I was very sweet and loved to sit in her husband's lap or on his feet during my freedom ride. I need a home that will help me lose a few pounds, but as a senior girl, my walking will be limited. I do like to stand up and dance around on my hind legs. I want a calm household that will love me for the rest of my days and become my new cuddle buddy. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished pet.
