Our family had wanted a dog for a long time, so we spent months researching different breeds before falling in love with Labradoodles. After our search, we found Kato in Pennsylvania. We drove four hours to bring him home when he was just 8 weeks old, and from the moment we met him, we knew he was part of our family.Over the years, Kato has brought us so much love, laughter, and happiness. This has been one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make.As our children prepare to leave for college and our careers become more demanding, our schedules have changed dramatically. We know Kato deserves a home where he can receive the time, attention, and active lifestyle he thrives on. Although we love him deeply, we can no longer provide that consistently.Our greatest hope is to find Kato a loving family who will cherish him as much as we have and give him the wonderful life he deserves.

We have received a large number of applications for Ella, and are not accepting new ones as we work our way through the ones that have come in. Ella may have been born in South Carolina, but she was made for the Chesapeake. This tiny, one-year-old chocolate doodle is happiest anywhere there’s water, whether she’s paddle boarding, soaking up the sun, or taking a dip in the pool. She is an absolute dream with the sweetest, most gentle personality. Ella loves dogs, cats, kids, and every grown-up she meets. She’s fully house- and crate-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is the kind of easygoing companion who fits right into any adventure.
