Story
Buck-St. Bernadoodle Male puppy, ~ 4 mo. (March 2025) Please contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Buck came to Rescue when rescued by a Dog Trainer from a Puppy Mill situation. He needs someone who is excited to show her to the world and the joy it can bring her. He's good with other dogs and cats. Children are an unknown. He's a good sized boy,33# already, with his breeding, and will probably be a large adult. He knows how to walk on the leash and is a quick learner. His Trainer said he's very sweet and is learning every day. He has spent a couple weeks in a Prison Training Program, so is started with his basic obedience training. An easy puppy to work with. He's ready to find her new home and family. Saint Berdoodles are firm family favourites who thrive off 24/7 company, whether from pet parents or furry friends. These big bundles of love and affection will make themselves at home right away, ideally at the heart of an adoring family. This hybrid will typically be affectionate and enjoy being in the thick of things. He will usually develop a strong bond with his humans and will prefer to spend as much time as possible with them. Buck's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com . Be sure to include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Noodle and her brother, Babe Spaghetti, found themselves at an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. The shelter is no place a puppy should ever end up in, fortunately they have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers. Noodle has landed a nice foster home, but what she wants more than anything is to find her forever family. Could that be with you? Noodle is a sweet and playful puppy. She has not met a person or dog that she doesn't love. At Noodle's young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization too. Adopting her would mean gaining a loyal companion. She's waiting to shower her lucky family with plenty of wet nose kisses and butt wiggles. Submit an application today and change this sweet girl's life forever!  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org.Sponsor Me! Peter-- Labradoodle Yellow male puppy, DOB 3-3-25 (April 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application A lovely Labradoodle female had puppies and the owner could not keep them. The owner called Rescue to help. She said the daddy of the puppies is a purebred Poodle. The puppies are moving to a foster home right after Easter and we will have more pictures and genders to share. We are now letting people know they are out here, looking for a home in the near future. Peter is doing great, growing, now playing with his siblings and just loving the human attention. The parents are approximately 60# as adults. Due to their tender, young age, they will NOT be spay/neutered prior to adoption. The consensus of the Vets is that 6-12 mo. Would be the age appropriate time for that surgery. They are on schedule with age appropriate shots, deworming and will be microchipped prior to adoption. Peter's adoption fee will be $600 to help cover for his medical expenses and care so far in his short sweet lives. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Please include your location and a phone number for future communication.
