Story
Xochitl (pronounced So-chee) is a Labradoodle that just turned 1. She was purchased by a certified breeder in Virginia and has been with us since they delivered her to Baltimore in late September 2025.Xochitl gets along well with other dogs (she currently lives with a Belgian Malinois and has regularly done doggie daycare). She is affectionate, loves attention and is happiest when she is being petted and playing with others. She still struggles with a bit of separation anxiety, even with another dog around (difficult w/our work). She's potty trained & doesn't have accidents in the house as long as she is walked or taken outside at least twice per day & not left alone for extended periods. She is crate-trained, and at night, we still find that she has made it to her crate. She got a small fracture in her leg as a puppy, but had surgery and fully recovered. We are hoping to rehome her in a caring and loving environment that can give her the attention she needs and deserves.

Story
If you're looking for a dog who truly wants to be part of your life, this sweet boy may be the one you've been waiting for.He is an incredibly sweet, smart and loving Labradoodle with one of those personalities that makes you want to have him beside you. He loves being near his people and is happiest when he's included in whatever you're doing, whether that's going for a walk, playing outside or simply hanging out together at home. He's playful and energetic, but underneath all that puppy enthusiasm is a boy who really just wants his person. He's bright, eager to learn and would thrive with someone who enjoys spending time with their dog and continuing to give him guidance, exercise and attention. He would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a true companion, not just a dog who lives in the house, but one who becomes part of your everyday life.Adoption fee negotiable to the right home.

Calla is a gentle, goofy girl who loves her people and is happiest quietly being part of the family. She’s calm and easygoing indoors, with the occasional surprise zoomie to show off her silly side!  She’s sensitive to storms and loud noises and does best with a quiet space of her own when things feel overwhelming. Calla takes time to warm up and needs patience, reassurance, and a calm environment to feel safe. Calla’s ideal home is with another pup in the home that could be her mellow brother or sister.  Give this sweet girl time and love, and you’ll discover a funny, affectionate companion who is worth the wait.      Apply today and open your heart and your home to this wonderful girl—she'll show you just how much love a rescued dog can bring. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Ella was adopted August 2026! Ella may have been born in South Carolina, but she was made for the Chesapeake. This tiny, one-year-old chocolate doodle is happiest anywhere there’s water, whether she’s paddle boarding, soaking up the sun, or taking a dip in the pool. She is an absolute dream with the sweetest, most gentle personality. Ella loves dogs, cats, kids, and every grown-up she meets. She’s fully house- and crate-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is the kind of easygoing companion who fits right into any adventure. If you’re looking for a lovable little sidekick who will happily join you on the water and then cuddle up at home (after you’ve dried her off, of course!), Ella is ready to make every day a little brighter. 🤎 My Profile Age: 1 year old Weight: 33 pounds Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Fenced yard: No Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: Yes House trained: Yes.
