Approx. DOB:  8/15/24                                Current Weight(as of 3/18/25): 43.8 Adoption Fee: $225 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness.     Nicholas is a beautiful lab mix.  Both parents are black lab mixes. Him and his sister Nikki were released to Furry Kids' Refuge due to the family having too many dogs.     Nick is such a loving pup.  He is really energetic and active.  Nick loves to play with the other dogs. Of course he loves all toys especially balls and Kong chews that look like knuckle bones for heavy chewers.  Nick is looking for a family that wants a happy,  active, fun pup that still has some more growing to do.  At this point we think he will gain another 20pds before he is full grown but this is only a GUESS!      Nick had been working on his leash walking wearing a harness.  The harness, his collar and leash will go home with him when he is adopted.  It's so much easier working with a harness when teaching them to walk without tugging on the leash. Nick is going to make some family very happy when they adopt him. Get your application  in.        Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption.   All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.  Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support! Story
Meet Cow (Cowboy). He’s a 5 1/2 month old Labrabull. He’s a playful loveable lil guy (maybe not so little) and he’s looking for a family to bring him home. Not neutered yet. He recently graduated his first round of puppy classes with flying colors 🎉 Crate trained. Takes a daily 2 mile walk and is doing great with leash training. House trained. Up to date on vaccines. Chipped. Does great with baths. Good with kids! We aren’t wanting to rehome him due to bad behavior, we’ve made the tough decision bc of a recent health diagnosis and not having the capacity to give a puppy the time and attention he deserves. We love Cow a lot and want him to find someone who will love him and give him a caring and safe home. Someone willing to walk him and give home room to run and play.

These pups are in Lees Summit, Missouri too!
